As I've said, this book seems to act as a Rorschach test for readers. Some folks talk about its simplicity. Some folks talk about its complexity. Some folks think little happens. Some folks think it's full of plot. Me, I just hope that whatever it is, folks will vote for it in August!
The Pilot Season stuff has been quite good. TWILIGHT GUARDIAN is a 'simple' book that is a worth read! If you've loved "PLAIN JANES" (DC COMICS MINX), then this book is ideal for you. :)
"Simple" is a good way to describe. There's nothing complicated in this book but that purity is something I personally see as an asset. Some people are just bored by it. That reminds me, I need to get my interview questions to Hickman!
I voted for Twilight Guardian, it was the best comic book in Pilot Season II. Looking forward to see the series.

i bought twilight guardian #1 on sale out of some comic book bin somewhere. I loved it!!! I wish I could find more issues.
