I reckon it a good Idea have Hogwarts. I reckon the whomping willow should be ride where your in a cage and you tumble around with a branch (safe of course). Have a rollarcoaster (the flying car) over the Castle. Threstrals should be another rollarcoaster. I also think that they should have a gringotts ride for the carts like the one at rainbows end (Auckland, New Zealand). A scary maze (Forbidden Forest), and much more.

I don't think they are going to be able to fit all of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter into a bit over 20 acres, they need to build just a Hogwarts in New Zealand (there is tones of room). Build it WITHOUT Hogsmead; have the boats going across the lake. They should make it exactly the same size as in the movies; have the Whomping Willow, Hagrid's Hut, the Shrieking Shack, and the Owlery etc.

.... thats gunna be like billions and billions of dollars... probably running into the trillions. Who would make something like that? especially in new zealand..? noone would go, thus it would become a financial flop. That whole idea is ridiculous.

By the looks of the plans, they arent going to have any room for these. Also in the Islands Adventure, America, think of all the tourists walking around Hogwarts, carrying cameras, phones, it just wouldn't be Hogwarts.

There would be queuing for hours just to the Moaning Myrtles bathroom (if they even put in). They could team up with EA, Warner Brothers, and the original architects and build an amazing Hogwarts! I arent saying the Wizarding World of Harry Potter isnt going to be great (I think it will be awesome), I am just saying they need more Hogwarts! If you think it would be a cool idea to have Bigger and Better Hogwarts around the world, copy, paste and post this!

It should have been built here first, simple as that. I've read many excuses on the net about money, the fact we don't have the room - all bull. When there's millions of pounds to be made, you find room. Building Harry Potter world in America is the equivalent to building the first Disneyland in London. Really dissapointing.

I think the theme park should have been made in the UK. I would be much more happy to visit it if it was in Britain. The books set in Britain as well as the films are filmed in Britain. In my opinion it would be absolutely natural the theme park to be made in the UK. When the theme park is ready I think I'm not so into visiting it because of the fact it is in the USA. I guess I have to hope they will make the theme park sometime in the UK too.

You couldn't have made it in Britian. Land's too expensive and there's no places like Universal to add it on to, it would have to be it's own park and that would be too big a risk. No investor would go for it

I'm not saying anything against the Theme Park being in Orlando if the Americans are building it. But I think they should have made one In the UK first. And with your example of DisneyLand... "Hollisterbabe"...

They may have three over the world, but they have one where it was invented, I just don't see why they couldn't make a Harry Potter Theme Park in the UK where it was invented as well as there being one in America.

I don't know a whole lot about the UK, but do they have major theme parks? When I think of the UK, I don't think of theme parks. In the USA, it's a huge part of our culture. It's what we do, and we do it well.

I certainly hope they don't "Americanize" it! As an American, I see no point in altering the story (or theme park) at all. We're made up of bits of many other cultures; we should be able to understand something that is presented in another cultures viewpoint. If not, then we need the practice anyway! :D

Yeah I went to universal studios in Hollywood a couple of years ago. I may be slightly biased cause I work at Warner Bros. Movie World where the Australian Harry Potter attractions were, but I miss them so much and America does things differently to Australia and Britain.
