  • I will buy it

  • how do you power it and where do you get the thing that powers it?

  • @NoRussian360 it gets it power from the stock 360 slim power brick.

  • Comment removed

  • @busterpet1 check out my new units. this one is old. thanks for posting.

  • laptop 360p

  • Arctic Silver. Fucking smart move man <3

  • how much are you selling it?

  • @JashBaijnath Pm me. thanks.

  • Can I buy one?

  • @rainrangez yes I am selling them but I am not doing 15" Units unless they are ordered.

  • how do you connect a laptop screen to the xbox?

  • how much for you to make one containing the old xbox 360

  • Have Xbox contacted you about copyright stuff? And how much are these going for?

  • @NewAgeSkaters I do nothing to them to make Microsoft angry. It is a 100% stock system in a fancy case. All parts are from a stock Xbox slim I bought at GameStop. It will do nothing that a stock Xbox slim can't do. I warranty them myself. I do no software modding of any kind. If you buy one; it will function the same as any other slim. It just has a built in monitor and sound system. I even used a stock Microsoft vga cable plugged into mobo to get the sound and video to the unit.

  • what happens if you shack the system around wont you get the halo rings on your disks

  • @JakeMaylan the isn't as big an issue with the siim but it isn't and issue at all when you install the game on the hdd. the dvd only spins for about 10 seconds so the xbox slim can make sure you have the disk in the drive then uses the hdd only.

  • cool

  • would you consider making a video of how to make one?thanks!

  • @goldedrago check out my channel.

  • @darkuncle33 ok ill check it out

  • @darkuncle33 oh sorry thanks i found them thanks again!

  • @esequielharcia360I make the cases for my builds from sheet aluminum. Check out the other ones I have I have built, if you like this one. There are videos on my channel. And thanks very much for the complement.

  • are these things for sale, i want an xbox 360 laptop

  • @timmysmithable I am not doing 15" units any more. I am doing 17" and 18" units though. You can order them on my website. There is a link to it on my Youtube channel.

  • how much for the 18.4 dude...im really really interested,!!!! cheers dude

  • @MrNHDHUSKY PM me.

  • i don't see anyone ever putting on top of their lap.

  • ca coute combien ce truc

  • uggg dammit why cant i get to the ebay thing sooner !!!!!!!!!! i want this !!!!!

  • @suske423 if you order one from me, you get it at the same price as the starting bid on ebay. plus you can send me your xbox slim and hdd and take 300 off of the price.

  • @darkuncle33 +_+ i don't have an xbox slim and hdd sadly +_+ ........plus how much do u want for it ?

  • @darkuncle33 these still for sale and can u send me a price?

  • @APwningPig I am not doing 15" units anymore. but I am building and selling 17" and 18.4" units. Pm me for a price.

  • @bcrawfordflushing You should be able to use any 360, not sure about original xbox (from 2001)

  • Did you get the case milled for you or did you do it yourself?

  • I hate ur xbox lap top

  • @SuperBigcock100 Take a look at my new one and tell me what you think of it. It is over 1/2" thinner then this one.

  • U do know the xbox360 be scratching disc wen its move?... So did u fix that problem wen u created that xbox360 laptop if u didn't u should...

That xbox360 laptop is a very good idea!

  • @megamanx05 the slim isn't as bad about messing up disks. but if you install the game to the hdd you don't have to think about that the disk only spins that the start of the game.

  • @bcrawfordflushing not with rrod. but you can laptop a old xbox 360 but you need like 7 fans in it.

  • @bcrawfordflushing Just xbox slim.

  • nice profit!

  • I am working on something simular I guess.. I am doin a home theater pc with a hdmi monitor. My question is this, have you ran acroos anyone who has the xbox as sec. priority and say windows 7 as priority? So it loads windows 7 and then when you want xbox you just click load or something. Or do you know how to do this?

  • @RWood3112 I think the xbox 360 is based on a power pc and the Xbox 360 os Is based on Windows NT. I don't know if anyone as dual booted it with a different OS in the way you are talking about. Maybe someone else would know. But I am sure it would make Microsoft hopping mad.

  • what monitor did you use?

  • @TheSmrtMouth I used a 15.4" laptop lcd. It was a AU Optronics lcd.

  • I'm wanna take this into gamestop and see how much I can get for it.

  • @ChrisCross722 LOL Good luck.

  • Why didnt you include the power supply in the case?

  • @KiloDoubleMike The power supply is too large to fit in the case. Even if I had enough space in the base the power supply was to thick to fit it because I only had 1 3/4" of hight inside. But if you check out some high-end gaming laptop pcs the power supply is external and is bigger then the Xbox Slims power supply.

The Xbox 360 laptops that have the power supply in the case are 2x the size of my build. i was going for smallest ever made. the one i am building now is less then2" thick.

  • how much did u sell it for

  • @sniperx15rulz i sold it for 1750$

  • how did you connect the screen to the xbox? (vga or HDMI)

also how did you connect the speakers and amp?

well the point to my question is what output from the xbox did you use to get image and sound?

  • I wanna buy it hit me up

  • @TTGSkater This one is sold. I am doing a 17" unit now, that will be finished in 2 weeks. I am looking to sell the new one for 1800$ + shipping. go to my channel and you can see a video of the 17" units cooling test.

  • this is probably the best version. ever better than benheck

  • hey im sponsored by guys who makes these

  • Bro, thats awesome, i seen u are askin 1600!! But it is custom, took along time to build! its awesome... i will subscribe

  • hey excellent job on the laptop, it looks amazing! by any chance do you think you could make a video on how you converted the laptop LCD to use as the screen. This would be most helpful in making a cheaper version for taking to friends houses and not having to lug around a TV and Xbox and all of that stuff. thanks

  • @jgmcn I intend to make how to videos for this build. And I will post parts and tools list both here and on my website. I am selling the one I have finished on ebay now, and am starting the planning process for building two more. So subscribe, and give me a little time and I will help you out.

  • @darkuncle33 Thank a lot for doing so i got a presario C700 to, i saw that this was the screen you used, can't wait for you to show us how you made it :).

  • @darkuncle33 hello where did you get the aluminum

  • @monkeyboy991000 For this one i used extruded aluminum channel for the sides. I don’t even remember where I got it. I just had it setting around my shop. I used cookie sheets to make the top plate and bottom. Cookie sheets were cheaper by fare then buying sheet aluminum the same size from a hardware store.

The one I am doing now I made the sides, top and bottom from cookie sheets.

  • i meant to say will you trade this for a iPod Touch 3G 32GB, Netbook, Nintendo DSi, Xbox 360 (caseless, 3RROD, but currently fixing), PS3 (includes all cables and 1 controller), and Limited Edition Clear Airforce 1 (Real, worth $250) all of these have been barely used

  • iPod Touch 3G 32GB Netbook Nintendo DSi Xbox 360 (caseless, 3RROD, but currently fixing) PS3 (includes all cables and 1 controller) Limited Edition Clear Airforce 1 (Real, worth $250)

  • @darkuncle33 very nice, ill look forward to your work good sir. thanks for the info and good luck sir

  • @darkuncle33 Great job! My question is: Can you do a parts kit, for me to put together cheaper then your listed price. (w/ monitor, minus assembly, paint, xbox, ect.) Less work for you. More personalized for me. thanks

  • @rpopalimos I may be able to work with you on something like that. PM. me on my channel.

  • @darkuncle33 just the power brick huh? that's good but for the lcd screen did you have to add a connector for the ribbon cable on the motherboard or did you used a different method? is there any specific sites you recommend that helped you in this build man?

  • @intlDrx7 The lcd gets its power from a 12v pin in the kinect port. the lcd is controlled by a driver board programed to control the lcd I used. not all lcd can be used like this You need an lcd that needs under 1 amp. Most laptop lcds use LVDS connectors. There are companies that make controller boards for laptop lcds. You just have to find one that will work with the boards they make.

  • great work man, question? im researching to do this on my own so I want to ask what power supply you used and how do you run power to the monitor as well as to the motherboard. I am also curious to your asking price for one incase i cant make one on my own tho.

  • Thanks for getting back to me, sorry havent been on youtube for a while. Cant wait for it to be on ebay.

  • What is your going price? I would like to purchase one before being deployed to Afghanistan in july! Name your price...

  • @DAFraNK360 I will sell it here if I get an offer I can't refuse. I am almost finished testing and as soon as I am it is going on ebay. I am eager to do another one. The sooner this one sells the the sooner I have the money to do the next one. Which may be a 17” model, I would like to do two one 15 one17.

  • does it work wit turtle beaches???

  • @TeenyDevilDog It has a headphone jack. I am not sure how turtle beach headphones connect to the xbox. But the head phone jack is two channel. It has usb so it depended on how they hook up.

  • @DAFraNK360 I used a 15" because I was going for the smallest i could build. A 17" would have been much easier.

  • Looks exactley like Ben Hecks xbox 360 laptop. REALLY AWSOME!!!. im willing to buy it

    Whats the price?

  • Looks exactley like Ben Hecks xbox 360 laptop im willing to buy it

  • 15" screen. my lcd is AU Optronics B154EW04 V2

  • awsome xbox laptop dude what laptop screen did you use? and how big is it? thanks

  • very professional, nice job!

  • How did you make the laptop screen work whit the 360?

  • @unXedDani That one was tricky. There are companies that make controller boards for laptop monitors. You just have find one that uses the same connector as your lcd, LVDS most likely, and can be programed to controlle your model lcd. Not all laptop lcds can be used like this.

  • thanks :D

  • good price

  • @darkuncle33 to expensive :(

  • @Treadzeze I will do some how to videos of my next build so maybe you can build one of your own. I will be posting tool and parts lists too. it is hard work but a lot of fun!!!

  • Dude, that's some serious win right there. *nods* Saw this on Pwnem, btw.

  • @JonathanWolfe038 Tanks for the feedback. I am really proud of it. A lot of hard work went into to it.

  • can i buy it?

  • where to buy it and how much

  • This is Fantastic.

  • No I haven't but that is a good idea. like is said in the video I want to be sure that it has no issues before I sell it. Yes I will try to let everone know when it goes on ebay. I am thinking maybe 3 to 4 weeks.

  • looks really nice - have you ever tried playing it on a car or train and testing it, as sometimes the vibrations cause things to loosen. and even if the buyer doesnt go on a train or car, then the normal everyday use could cause problems. also, please would you be able to tell me when you put it on ebay? thanks
