eww those sponge tip applicators are bacteria city! drugstores and ELF carry decent brushes! I know your trying to do the whole "drug store look" but i can think people can spring for a $1 brush.. sorry im a germaphobe!

yeah i was wondering y she was using that applicator but it clicked: it IS drugstore and people probably dont have money to spend on expensive high quality brushes. and that u dont have to have expenisive brushes to pull off a cute look :D no guru has ever done that. so thanx blair :D

Oh i used to use those little spongy brushes that come with makeup. Then i saw people use brushes and now i use them instead but...only because they hurt my eye and it wasnt working for me and thet dont help me to apply makeup at all and its annoying but pretty look.

Basically being resourceful. You can always use brushes, but the sponge tip applicators do the job. Use whatever you would like. It's just a tutorial, you can create your own variations.
