It would have been easier on guitar if you tuned the B string up to a 4th (to a C). Then play like dino on the mock seven string missing the high E

i think thats what i did. its all tuned down with a thicker gauge string on top and missing the high e string.

Yeah, that's how I play it.

Tune the second thinest string up a semitone, and the high notes are on the fourth fret of the bottom two strings.

Even then, it's not exactly how Dino plays it. He uses the highest string open.
