jst wondering what the point is to having more than one motor. does it make it spin faster or something cuz the last time i checked the motors spin atthe same speed which would be using 2 motors to make a rod spin at normal speed.

umm you have more power, not speed. the wheel itself being that big will make it seem the rod is spinning that fast.

The thing is so heavy one moter would not be enough to make it move. You are right that bot moters are the same speed together but with no friction. However the strenth is doubles when there is two resulting in the wheel spinning faster!.
