Who's this boorch guy? Unless your Jeff Martin yourself boorch, keep quiet. VeeDub - very good. Inanna was made on a sitar type of thing. Pretty hard to transcribe it perfectly to a guitar. And thats not what playing is about. veedub is doing his own style. I'm impressed. Boorch, lets see what you got. I got winter solstice down, the badger, sister awake in the works (12-string sounds amazing). Just snooping around now for Innana stuff. Very impressive though. Thumbs up.
i don't know if you're trying to add things to the songs but actually there missing notes/articulations. and inanna sounds a lop missing. it's still great work though, keep working!
oh and i forgot to tell, the solo parts around 1:40 and later is not supposed to be played like that, it has to be played with the same diatonic drone chords. take care!
It was never my intention to directly copy the songs. I'm quite aware that things are different and/or missing. Understand that this is just a little video of me noodling around, and I'm mirroring some exotic instruments with only an acoustic.
Probably my two favorite songs on Edges. Drawing Down the Moon is up there too but obviously wouldn't work too well on an acoustic. Good job man. Maybe I'll be able to do that in a few years haha.
I used to have one.. guess what, it was tuned for Winter Solstice and that's it.. lol, jammin' with that nice tuning, on that 12Strings, just awesome ! I miss that, i stopped playing guitar almost 3 years ago, been playin for 8 years.. kinda miss it !
I found that I simply didn't like tuning a 12 string to a boatload of different tunings, so that's why it sat most of the time. To me, it was a 'specialty' guitar, and was never my first choice to play - usually not even my 5th or 6th choice. Anyway, I find that alternate/open tunings on a 6 string acoustic sound rich enough for my tastes. Get back to playing! Why'd you stop? I've been playing for about 20 yrs now.
that bizzare i playing probably the second guitar of that song ,but im playing it in bagdad tuning ...well cool anyway

Very, very well done. I can't seem to verbally express how impressed I am, so I'll leave it at 'I'm very impressed'. ^^

Heh heh. I had one for years. I played it for about a year, and then it sat around collecting dust. Got rid of it a long time ago!
