Rockets were WRONGLY shot into Israel for years before the blockade, which has curbed the number by far. You're calling the self-defense of people having those rockets fired at them "illegal".

@IBeatUpThugs Don't take me out of context. I am NOT calling ISRAEL illegal.. I'm calling it's occupation illegal. THE UN calls it that as well. ISRAEL has the right to exist as a FREE and DEMOCRATIC nation. That is left along by its neighbors. It must also leave its neighbors alone. Some things the government of Israel does IS "unjust" "immoral" and "illegal" just as some things EVERY government does are those things. I am NOT belittling the victims of "Muslim" terrorists or supporting them.

@Unclecookoo OK. you are saying it's a 2 sided fight, I'm glad, that's more than most will acknowledge. Israel was attacked by multiple countries at once, who refuse to make peace with it. In the Hamas charter it says peace negotiations are un-islamic. Go a bit further to acknowledge Palestinians and Arabs are the aggressors.

@IBeatUpThugs Both could/can be seen as aggressors depending on perspective. Israel was established where there is without doubt historical precedence among contemporary settlements. People were where Israel is now established that were wronged regardless of the history. We can't forget that even historically Jewish peoples were not alone in that region. You acknowledge it is 2 sided? Hamas is a fanatical party, yet even they have given signs they will recognize an Israel within '67 borders.

@Unclecookoo I do acknowledge that Arabs/Palestinians have been vicious and aggressive in opposition to a state of Israel, but many Arabs have realized that the ONLY path towards PEACE is mutual recognition. Do you acknowledge the undemocratic nature of a religious state that gives privileged rights to one citizen over another based on religion? My interest is in an Israel that can live in peace with its neighbors as a true democracy, where jews are protected yet not privileged.

@Unclecookoo I think you should look a little more into the dynamics of the UN. There is a voting block of dozens of Muslim countries vs. 1 Jewish one. They could say Israel eats babies and it would pass as a UN resolution. Muslims have turned the UN into nothing more than a Muslim lynch mob of Jews/Israel.

@IBeatUpThugs I understand the dynamics of the UN thorougly. The veto power of the U.S. that has kept a lot of strong resolutions on Israel from getting through. I also KNOW that most non-Muslim nations only recognize the legal boundries of Israel to be within the '67 borders. You say they could say Israel eats babies and it would pass, maybe you should look closer at what U.N. resolutions have passed on Israel and how the vote goes. Muslim nations do not have the kind of power in the UN U say.
