You're probably hearing Esmee's voice instead of hers. Listen for the harmonic part (the higher voice), that's where her voice is.

Esmee projects her voice beyond the level of Amy's microphone's capability, if she turned Esmee down, the music would be too low. (I personally would have preferred hearing Amy's voice louder and left the music too low)
