They have GOT to put in Mellisa Bergman from Metroid Other M. (SPOILER). She would have the ability to control space pirates, metroids, and all the other Metroid series monsters. I think that would be really cool....
I really don't see why people want Geno so much in Smash Bros. Yeah he was in a really great game and was a powerhouse but what I fear is that they fuck him up in some awful way. I also think that because Square said "no" first doesn't mean they'll say "yes" because Sonic and Snake were in it. Geno's a good candidate, but given what has already happened, I can never see him getting in.
But I do think the one 3rd party character who has the best shot is Mega Man.

Actually, Snake was a welcome addition, and Kojima practically begged Nintendo to put Snake in. Sega didn't team up with Nintendo. They were run out of business, and then they had no choice but to join Nintendo.
Zoroark is going to be in the game. Mewtwo had a movie. Mewtwo was in melee. Lucario had a movie. Lucario was in brawl. Now Zoroark gets a movie. Zoroarks gonna be in SSB4. Not to mention he's the only pokemon they can be lazy about and copy the moveset to.
I still think the Skull Kid from majora's mask would be great. And Vaatti however that's spelled. I would bring back all of the characters that have been playable in any of the games whether they are costumes or seperate characters.
I would ditch the Mario babies for Klonoa. I would keep Tetra but not the Zelda half. I think Deoxy would be put in over Zoroark although I think both are good choices. I think Ridley would be great. Definately get rid of Silver and maybe shadow. Keep Pheonix.

I'm pretty sure Smithy from Rpg (those who don't know about his orgin) would make it in as a better character rather than king K. Rool. and just putting this out there, deity link would make a better final smash for link... Roy would be random.... I'm just putting my ideas on the table and don't get all defensive... make a resonable arguement rather than yelling...

@xehenort99 Puff needs to stay because she was an original Smash character (her original inclusion was a marketing thing, had to be). Beyond that, I can't really think of a reason for Zoroark to be added. Lucario is like a 'status' Pokémon (belonging to a gym leader, a champion, a legend, and a "rival"), so I can see him. The other Pokémon are obvious reasons. I can't think of any other Pokémon that can be added that mean anything (other than legendary status).
You know how everyone wants the overhyped pokemon like the legendaries or Zoroark to be in SSB4? I got Bisharp the other day for the Pokedex 3D thingy; and after seeing his 3D design and movements, and I think that HE's more worthy to be a playable character! After all, just because they don't appear very often in the movies/anime doesn't mean that they aren't worthy. Heck, just look at Jigglypuff! It's only appeared in a select few episodes, even before SSB1.
I want: Geno, Bomberman, Silver, Ness! i would love these characters so much, possibly silver might not come! but Geno and Bomberman people want so why not add them! bomberman attacks: B bomb hold then press again to throw. B+up flying bomber, B+side bomb fire/ice/wind/shadow/light. A punch, A+tap have soem kind of strong punch, A+tap+down place a bomb below you and blow up but wont hurt you only other players. SPECIAL- bombs dropping from the sky blowing up that would be really cool!

Daisy had Super Mario land, but even SMRPG is even more well known then that, and she's not even playable in it, and is just the princess that needs saving *couch*peach clone*cough*
Now Geno in a SSB4 would be an obvious choice. He is a better character than those filler charters used to make mario sports games rosters bigger. And actually has official attacks that would be extremely easy to incorporate in a SSB.
Not only that, but he's a bad-ass possessed doll that shoots lasers. Why wouldn't you want Geno?

@jackpfoto These Predictions are old. Many of the Predictions were before SSB4 was Announced. Also, it's unknown how the Characters will be settled.
With Brawl, they removed a few because of Clones (except for Mewtwo just because of Replaced)
They could keep all SSBB Characters or perhaps remove some, but unknown for now. But with Wii U, maybe the System can handle for over 40 Chars.

@XGiftedGamerX Well, sorry if I seem obnoxious but I feel like Sonic should be the only Sonic character in Smash Bros. having anymore would ruin his title of guest characters. And hell, I already hate Sonic in Brawl, he's just annoying. So anymore spin-dashing speedsters would be pointless and irritating. Nick would be a whole new character with a crazy awesome moveset. Tails would be Sonic with flight. Which is STUPID. Hate Sonic, too bad :)

Also another prob is Waluigi being placed under Wario. Shure hes Wario's partner, but hes ONLY his partner in MARIO SPIN-OFFS. And since that is the case, he should appear in the Mario Spin-Off character row/group.

WOW...im getting tired of seeing a whole frickin row of Sonic characters...like come on. Plus, its simply UNFAIR to the other 3rd party characters if they get only 1 rep, while Sonic on the other hand seemes to be somehow so much more important that he gets way more. It was a mericle that we got Sonic, be happy w/ what you got and quit whining for more. And last thing i should address is that ppl who add that maney sonic characters seem to forget that this is a NINTENDO'S ALLSTARS FIGHTER.

Sylux: Why? WHY!? Seriously, he was ONE character who appeared at the end of a Metroid game and in a spinoff! SERIOUSLY!
Neku: Not that well known, only in one game, just too obscure.
Masked man: A rather unknown character from a game already only released in Japan.
Tails/Knuckles/Shadow/Silver: Too many characters from a third party game series.
Paper Mario/Baby Bros: No one really wants them, and they're just another form of a character. TO BE CONTINUED!

I doubt they would put paper mario or the baby form of Mario and Luigi, Geno wouldn't probably make it in as much as I want him in. I'm pretty sure Smithy from Rpg (those who don't know about his orgin) would make it in as a better character rather than king K. Rool. and just putting this out there, deity link would make a better final smash for link... Roy would be random.... I'm just putting my ideas on the table and don't get all defensive... make a resonable arguement rather than yelling...

Well, we already have a Boss from Mario, and King K Rool is much more well known, and considering that smithy is a head on a Large Block of iron, more playable :/
I replaced Baby Bros with Konoa
And Geno made it on SSBB's most wanted character list, so he's very possible :<

I'm pretty sure that a stage would be cooler. like a paper stage where all characters would become paper or something. Ridley become playable?

@xehenort99 Puff needs to stay because she was an original Smash character (her original inclusion was a marketing thing, had to be). Beyond that, I can't really think of a reason for Zoroark to be added. Lucario is like a 'status' Pokémon (belonging to a gym leader, a champion, a legend, and a "rival"), so I can see him. The other Pokémon are obvious reasons. I can't think of any other Pokémon that can be added that mean anything (other than legendary status).

You know how everyone wants the overhyped pokemon like the legendaries or Zoroark to be in SSB4? I got Bisharp the other day for the Pokedex 3D thingy; and after seeing his 3D design and movements, and I think that HE's more worthy to be a playable character! After all, just because they don't appear very often in the movies/anime doesn't mean that they aren't worthy. Heck, just look at Jigglypuff! It's only appeared in a select few episodes, even before SSB1.

I want: Geno, Bomberman, Silver, Ness! i would love these characters so much, possibly silver might not come! but Geno and Bomberman people want so why not add them! bomberman attacks: B bomb hold then press again to throw. B+up flying bomber, B+side bomb fire/ice/wind/shadow/light. A punch, A+tap have soem kind of strong punch, A+tap+down place a bomb below you and blow up but wont hurt you only other players. SPECIAL- bombs dropping from the sky blowing up that would be really cool!

Here's what I find as requirements for characters to be in:
1. They must be a fighter. Waluigi and Daisy have never been on an adventure, they were created for party and sport games.
2. They have to be main and/or recurring characters. Midna appeared in one out of almost 15 Zelda games. She didn't make that big of an impact.
3. ONE REP FOR EACH THIRD PARTY (cant be stressed enough)
People like Midna, Shadow, Geno, and Waluigi don't belong. People like Bowser Jr, Ridley, and Krystal do. ;P

Cus Geno has played a more important and sincere role in that one game than Toad, Daisy, and Waluigi ever have combined. Also:
Waluigi only really appears in sports/mario party type games.
Daisy=peach with a yellow dress,brown hair, and 1/100th importance, who originated from an old mario game that is even less known than SMRPG
Toad is a generic Mario npc, it would be like playing as a Goomba...

Geno could have been the the main character of SMRPG, his role was just as important as Mario's, it was just that you were controlling Mario the whole time
Toad and Waluigi never had a game that could even remotely be considered to be "about them"
Daisy had Super Mario land, but even SMRPG is even more well known then that, and she's not even playable in it, and is just the princess that needs saving *couch*peach clone*cough*

Now Geno in a SSB4 would be an obvious choice. He is a better character than those filler charters used to make mario sports games rosters bigger. And actually has official attacks that would be extremely easy to incorporate in a SSB.
Not only that, but he's a bad-ass possessed doll that shoots lasers. Why wouldn't you want Geno?
