i am at uni there but i used to spend a lot of time in preservation, i live right next 2 the train trax and love railways. The station hasnt really changed just the surrounding buldings and the trains are a lot more dull, I.E pacers, turbostars etc. Proper traction i.e loco hauled i love, even a 60 or 66.
Great videos. Happy days during the 70s n 80s when I travelled from Salisbury to Tirphil. A crompton and 5 Mk1s to Cardiff, then a cl 117 up to Rhymney. Would it be at all possible to obtain any copies of your filming during the BR period, perhaps 1970s? onwards, even outtakes. I would be more than happy to pay for costs and it would be for private use only. I am currently modelling Bargoed 1970-1985 in OO.

I think it is a 116-101-108 formation. Things got a bit desperate sometimes.

Great video of Cardiff Central - what a good place it was to watch trains. Bit dull these days - even the HSTs don't sound the same.
