  • Holy S&^&T! What are we goung to do about SCOTUS?

  • Ask Libby....he'll know what to do.....

  • just wanna say though very nice commentary in the video lol

  • well this is true, by the way what are you listening to in this video lol?

  • who really gives a crap wat liberalviewer thinks anyway

  • you're right - but I just worry about the younger, more impressionable utoober that might stumble across one of his propaganda reels......

  • FDSAFK$%)$#LLA>>>SSS####3333!!!@

I might as well write nonsense, because if I tried to make any logical point, you wouldnt follow it anyway

  • You can make a logical point? REALLY?

  • I have to say that your right, on this issue

I did not agree with liberalviewer

even if Billo had called her a witch it wouldn't be sexist considering that you need to be a women in order to be a witch

that would disregard any stereotypes or sexism

but very good point i didn't catch the "it's" part

But what was up with the music in the background man?

sounds like someone was killing a cow

  • both of these videos tend to be VERY technical on language

    so lets get to it

"it's" refers to a simile, an indirect statement. Indirect is sometimes just as effective as direct. E.G. if I called you a "gay" (just a random 'insult'), you may not care, but if I say you are "as bent as egg" it may have the same effect if not stronger. Comparing her to the wicked witch is a pretty strong and offensive indirect statement.

  • secondly

the simile refers to an "action" aka an event that occured in the past

you can still have a negative or positive view towards an action

E.G.: I think the bombing in the Gaza Strip was unneccesary.

    Pure and simple^

but sexism is tough, when applied to an action

E.G.: Girls Voting (the action) was seen as wrong for millenia, the response was that women could NOT vote, a sexist response.

Bill O'Rielly responds sexistly to the noise that the "old lady" made.

  • No I disagree

Even if Bill directly called her a witch it would not be sexist.

A Witch has to be a women.

    She dresses like a Nun.

Is that sexist? no because in order to be a nun you must be a female. It brings negative connotations to the word nun not the sex.

Sexism has to relate to the sex as a whole not just one particular individual. He would have to be claiming that women sound like and are witches for it to even meet the first condition of sexism.

  • fair point

I sorta agree in that Sexist is the wrong word

Offensive would be much more appropriate

  • Well I definitely think it was disrespectful

But then again I have come to expect that from Bill O

  • Not only was there little to no reference to Her sex, but his response was primarily directed to her question. As well as her voice. This leaves the criticism on her, not the sex. If he said something along the lines of "Oh that squawking old lady asking the typical stupid question that reporters with in her own league ask..." then, although not definitively relating to sex, that could be construed as being sexist.

  • mm hmm..

  • 1 star

  • Why thank you!

  • Your attempts at analysis are are tortured as ever--that's a flatline anyone with a passing familiarity of you well knows. But why do the technical abilities fail to improve? That crazy filter is just getting darker and darker, the annoying repeats you put on a word or short phrase . . . have you no creatively, no thoughts on how to better deliver your content to your legions of viewers? Has it never occurred to you that your smug, sarcasm puts off people? Not even for a flicker of time, right?

  • I think you mean my analysis tortures you. Obviously you find my dissenting opinion distasteful, that is why you say it is wrong. As to the technique - I guess I'm just like a welfare recipient - you can give me all the money you want, but if I just don't care, I won't improve. Legion of viewers? Gee thanks! My sarcasm puts people off? At least one other person has made a positive comment about this video. Has it never occurred to you that your opinion is not the only one?

  • You like sarcasm. Okay, It's amazing how many times you miss the obvious. See these little lines that are bent into shapes? We can them letters. Together they form words, each of which has a definition (that means they mean things). Have a grown-up (big person to you) tell you what these words mean: illogical, trite, and nonsensical. Later we can move on to comb, razor, and style.

  • Amazing how I have missed the obvious - that you just don't agree with my viewpoint, and like ALL good "tolerant" liberal mentality-ites, you just declare me wrong....have someone tell you what "your opinion matters not to me" means. No - wait - I'll tell you - I don't care what you think...

  • I love when people say:

    "I don't care what you think... "

its basically like putting a sign on your head saying "I'm an ignorant bigot"

If you don't care what people think about you, how will you ever learn from your mistakes or just improve on life and achieve wisdom (which SHOULD be the common goal for humanity)

You may not LIKE what people think, but theres no reason to Ignore it

If soemone called me "fat" I could care less or maybe I could get on the treadmill or do nothing but think

  • no no - you misunderstand me. I care what others think about me - just not YOU - you have proven yourself not a source of any reliable criticism or intelligence....When someone calls you fat, but you know for a fact you are not - you don't care what they think...

  • well how could I prove to be an unrealiable criticist, because, according to your logic (as sarcastically as possible (like you)) You're completely unreliable as a source and therefore I should listen to everyone EXCEPT you, because you have proven to be a nusiance and someone who bases arguments off of assertions. All thought should be valued for more thought by another individual. Even if i'm not fat, I shouldn't just throw that comment away and claim the person stupid.

  • CRITICIST? Is that sorta like STRATEGERY?

  • you see

    if Criticist were a word

    you would definetly be one

I was low on letter, so I said that instead of Criticizer

    its youtube for godsake...

  • You had 24 characters left. You didn't save anything...hey dimwit - why didn't you just use the word you still seen to be searching for?

    CRITIC

  • lol, I love how angry you get over nothing

(You're going to respond and act all casual "I'm not angry at all")

Either way, congratulations, you caught me. At the time I forgot Critic, but life blows on, and you "seen" to be stuck on the brink where the earth stops rotating at 15 degrees/hour and goes to 0.

maybe your head is stuck up someone's brownie.

  • Seen - Seem / Critic - Criticist - What the hell are we talking about? What was my video about? I can't even remember....

  • I think it had something to do with ice cream....

  • yeah! That's it! And you and I were arguing the merits of the waffle vs sugar cone...so - you're an idiot! I can't believe you prefer the crunchy sugar cone to the slightly chewy waffle cone. No cone holds ice cream in quite the same way...what's wrong with you?

  • no, clearly the waffle cone triumph's

    its half waffle, half cone!

  • truly, one of the most insightful statements you've made. But I just can't let you be right, so, uh - I'll think of something! dammit! I'm coming up empty here!! I got nothing! AAAGGGRRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!

  • Well done.
