@XBaphometGuitar666X Well, I've heard that some people had problems finding the lemon oil that I use for the fretboard, but I believe that most guitar shops or even hardware stores sell it. The one that I use is from Dunlop, which most guitar stores sell.

You probably laid the tracks down in this order: Bass, Drums, backing guitar, melody guitar. Right? That's how I would do it if I was making a MIDI file.

@dogman15 Actually when I record I don't record bass first, it's usually drums first then rhythm guitar, bass, leads, harmonies and additional tracks. Normally I don't make my own midi files though since there are plenty of great ones out there and I just need to edit them, figure out the song and create my own arrangements.

@hanako7621 I don't think the effects matter, the notes should stay the same unless you're using a pitch-shifter. I would advice you to try to play the song as clean as possible without any effects first and then add effects for the right sound. You should also check if your tuning is the same as the one in the tab. Hope this helps :)
