I think not. From a short distance you had the sniper aimed above to have it fall into the enemy and get a headshot. But from a further distance you aimed your crosshairs closer to his head.

What you should do is make a video teaching people to snipe. Showing people how the bullet drop works and how high you have to aim for certain distances because they made snipping pretty hard in this game!
