Some useful tips.

1. You can boost in the ghost and some other enemy vehicles by holding left trigger.

2. The plasma pistol can be charged by holding the trigger, A charged shot eliminates enemy shields and disables vehicles temporarily.

3. The pistol you have as a secondary in most levels can zoom and headshotting the shieldless jackals and grunts, along with a weakened brute, will be a one-hit kill without having to waste any ammo from your smg or assault rifle.

Personally I think Gears of war had more personality than you're giving it for. I can see where essentially theres not much personality put into master chief or such. Marcus comes off more as a hard ass, rebel but leader. Dom's kinda the more down to earth one. Cole's the crazy ass. Baird's the smart ass. First game seems to chip more into Marcus' life and the second has more towards Dom's.

Ah well in Halo I never did get the feeling of anything but like a super soldier. So I can see why they'd see it less. Though that does make sense in some ways. Though I still think the combination does hold enough uniqueness with the delta squad. As for what we call them, if its true that they are mutated, then they are mutations, Though thats yet to be seen if I've read right, so as of now, they are...something. But yeah, honestly, bad personality won't ruin a game tho, its gameplay.

I'm a hardcore Gears fan. No where does it tip that the Locust are humans mutated by the Imulsion. The details are so fuzzy that they cannot be made into real facts. Just clearing that up, no where did it even point to humans as being mutated. Locust have been underground for way to long to be mutated.

Since the Locust queen was more human in ways than most suggested and imulsion being all radioactive or shit stuff. And really we will not know until gears of war 3 [if they suggest it there]. Personally I think the mutated idea is better than aliens or such. And being underground with the imulsion and such it could make sense. But yeah its all speculation. I never said it was fact.

That's because your basically playing Halo 3 but with a different character. Weapons may seem the same but they're not.  The SMG ( Sub Machine Gun ) has been changed. ODST can seem boring because your mainly only looking for your stranded ODST Squad Members. But notice that each level your playing with a different person. The thought of using a ODST and not a Spartan seems very different. That's why it mostly seems boring.

they have a second disk with all of the Halo 3 DLC map packs there isnt a matchmaking for ODST

You can play two player same xbox campaign, 4player online campaign. Same goes for Firefight.

although there is no ODST on ODST multiplayer, It comes with the entire Halo 3 multiplayer plus three new maps.
