Some companies/countries/artistes (like Japan) are stricter than others: I received a youtube notification that this is flagged and I will be notified if the publisher demands me to take it down. Even music videos that are already being shown publicly cannot simply be uploaded in a personal channel. Anyway as long as I am not legally asked to take it down, I'll leave it here.
Well to put it simply: everyone and anyone who posts/uploads/uses her songs without permission from her publishing company is infringing her right. Whether she/they want to take legal action is a different matter. The issue is not with youtube, but with me sharing her music publicly without permission.
How could it be copyright infringement when there are other songs of hers on here? I don't get it. Is it some issue regarding public use? I mean, Youtube is a public format and the music is here so...what's the deal?
You need to get in touch with her publishing company and and get permission. Even the fact that I am posting this here without her permission is actually copyright infringement :-(
Beautiful tune. Loved Debbie since she first came on the scene. Would love to use a sample of this song as an entrance theme for a late-night Blog show i'm setting up. Any advice on if and how I could do it without infringing on someone's toes?
