One thing I can't understand when Sylvian performs in these concerts why doesn't he record them via a high quality audio and video?

I've found many of his concerts but almost everyone were recorded by fans by a low quality audio and video.

I really would wish to see these concerts in a much more high quality (at least audio)

Quando le prime note di Before the Bullfight sono risuonate nella sala ho visto gente seduta davanti a me mettersi le mani nei capelli! Un brivido è sceso lungo la mia schiena...... una delle mie preferite.

Pochi giorni dopo correvo a Reggio Emilia per sentirlo ancora.

He lives in the States! He doesn't perform in the US because there are few album sales and this is real music and can't be listened to on an iPod.

Hey -- there are Americans like myself who have been following his music for over 20 years. I resent the IPOD comment.

only opinion, however. I find the iPod drammatically missing warmth and sonics. It is "hard on the ears". Apple has implemented a nice DAC however... here we speak about DS performing in the US. Artists perform where there music in purchased.

oh, if I'd known he was going to sing some of the old stuff I'd have gone to the concert this autumn. After seeing the Blemish tour some time back, I didn't bother getting tickets this time. Wish I had now.
