  • my dads '05 buick lacrosse with the III series 3800 still has the oil light on.

  • @drewb1994 r u sure u did it correctly. like as in timing to do it.otherwise another way is doing it thru ur trip button.. u just push thru the buttun till were the odometer shows wat percent the oils at. and at that point u would just hold it in 5 to 10 seconds and it will go to 100%.....

  • hey good video thank u, now i dont have that stupid light on , but on my 2002 grand am v6 i had to push it 4 times but it worked

  • @530mrsuperman as lng s its 3 times or more it will wrk. ive never har of a gm makingit more then 3. maybe the timing was off or it was being stupid. either way im glad itwrked for u.. sorry my keyboard is being eally wierd and missing letters

  • Very good video, thanks a lot!

How about Ford, Honda and Volkswagen Sir?

    Thanks

  • @sx2tmd hmm now for those ones its a lil moredifficult for me to explain cuz its diff for alota cars. for most hondas. u hold in the trip button like wat switches between tr a and trip b... u hold it down then turn the ignition forward to were all the lights turn on but not start. it will turn to 6 dashs thatwill count down to 0...jst hold it till that has happend.. if it dnt work for trip a or trip b try it on the mileage one like wat ur vehival has formileage haha. ill make a vid wen i gt car

  • @djkarmal Thank you!

  • @djkarmal Um, that's for Toyota's. The procedure for Honda's is holding down the trip/reset button for 10 seconds untill the maintenance light or oil percentage flashes, let go of the button, press and hold for another 5 seconds and the light goes out and life monitor resets to 100%. Fords are more complicating, no doubt. Euro cars, we never mess with those. A whole nother animal right there...

  • great video helped a lot
