I have both BB 9700 and 9000 and honestly i switched to my 9000 2 weeks after getting 9700. texting is easier on the 9000 bigger screen and a trackball is better then the touchy panel on the 9700 which stops working or freezes for no reason my trackball is always kept clean and never once skipped around the cursor or froze up.

there both ok, but now the new bold came out, witch is bold 9930 its THE BEST and its even newer then the torch, its a normal blackberry it looks a bit like the old bold but its with a qwerty keypad and it has a bigger screen its really big and its touch, and the speed is really fast the ram has went way higher, and the sides look more like of the iphone 4, its metal from the side, and even check on youtube over here the video named, blackberry bold 9930 review! watch it and you'll love it!!!!!

@thefilponsh as of now probly the 9780 i have a 9700 and love it but droped it and cracked the screen so might be getting the 9000 cause its cheaper but if you sign a term you can get the phone for cheap but defently go for 9700 or 9780 you will be more future proof and also the trackpad is amazing! i LOVE it and the trackball gets stuck and slows down once and a while

9000 is a MUCH better phone. I;ve used both and im surprised the 9000 is faster n more snappy then the new 9700 !

The 9000 has a better screen, better keypad, fits better in you hands. Looks more rich n grown up. The 9700 looks like a child's phone.

I'm keeping my 9000.. I wouldn't trade it for ANY other BB.

@JJOORRDDAANNNNN I just got the 9700 and I was having the same issue because there didn't seem to be much of a difference. Apparently (I'm not 100% sure) Blackberry OS 6 will only work with the 9700 and not the 9000. That's a big difference for me!

well i got the original blackberry bold 9000 when they first came out and i loved it. i recently left it in a public restroom and someone stole it ):

but i'm getting a new contract next week, and i am gonna go back to the 9000 rather than the 9700. i still prefer it. i loved my bold and miss it!
