Yeah, it's true. He wanted the humans to control the world, but the reason is Orochi's true intention was never explicitly implied.

@gigabowser64 Well psp version does have a Advantage over the concsole version.It will last longer because i Got Tekken Dark ressurection on my psp in 2007 and it still works while the console games Get broke in less than Two years.

It's not heavily implied but Orochi was once a Mystic. A Buddhist to be more precise. The English version censored most of the spiritual/religious undertones.

Well, I found out at koeiwarriors that this game is not coming out in the us :(. Oh well, I least i ripped the soundtrack onto my 360. That way, i can play this song while playing the last stage on Warriors Orochi or the 2nd one :).
