If the debt ceiling is not raised on August 1st The number one priority should be to stop the billions going to foreign aid and foreign governments. It will just have to be left to charities and good will. Second cut all corporate welfare and all funding to Fannie and Freddie if they have to file bankruptcy so be it. It will save taxpayers billions in future bail outs. Next cut all of Congresses pay and benefits in half sense it is their fault we are in this mess.
Washington treats the American people like suckers walking up to a carnival game that is rigged. If our economy was run like a corporation, there would be pay cuts across the board. The people who will suffer the most are the political targets of the GOP, middle-class Americans.
I found out that Israel receives more U.S. funds than any one of our 50 states! Yet no one has the stones to advocate cutting down on this foreign aid !
