i had a 325i and i bought it in germany, (no speed limiter) it had a top speed of 147 mph.

I saw 145 in my e46 325 when I still had it.

Havn't tested the V-max in the e90 325 yet...

155 was the top speed, in our e46, but 147 was as far as i went, i didnt have sports package so the tires were safe under like 135mph lol

i have the 02 325i and its pretty quick, but i just bought an intake for it so it should be faster. it may not be as good as the 335i, but its a hell of a lot cheaper lol

Intake isn't going to make you that much faster. Sorry dude. Intake adds like... 5 HP max. You wont even notice the difference, except for the fact you'll be less fuel efficient.

I think you were driving the 335i with no gas in it, which means your ruining your fuel filter, which means you'll have to sell BMW your soul to get it fixed.

the 335 is soooo quick. Turbo lag is nonexistent but when the tach hits about 4k the bigger turbo kicks in and its all over. Beat a Ferrari 355 in the 335.

There is a "small" problem: The 335i has no "bigger turbo"....the 335i has 2 small turbos, each feeding 3 cylinders. A small and a big turbo only have the diesel versions: x35d and x23d.

I don't even own a 335i (yet), but "you're a retard". The turbo's are the same size and are not sequential turbos either. They power 3 cylinders each.

the steptronic is not all its made out to be, if you have a choice get the manual.

if you already got the step/auto, its not that bad, maybe better in the e9*??

the e46 didnt seem to know what to do in some conditions ( up or down hill, or with 4 passengers etc. )

steptronic in the new 3 is much better, it rev matches on downshifts and is much crisper than the e46s

335i is awesome with all the power but that particular model has an auto trans, whereas the 325i is stick. personally I feel that the stick 325i is more fun than the auto 335i
