I had to live in a house with horrible roach infestation once. Whenever I put out boric acid, I could hear them laughing. We started keeping the house so clean, and put all food stuffs into bags, if they weren't in cans. Then the roaches had nothing else to eat but paper, each other, and PEOPLE.
People think roaches don't do any damage. They have voracious appetites. They love sugar, grease, and proteins, like egg, bean paste and some softened rotted meats.

I slept on the floor. They BITE.
