@TheManny4511 Briefly, this is the intro to the Disney movies in Italian theaters in 1978/79. It says "Congrats Mickey for your Golden Jubilee". Here in the Boot, CIC was the exclusive distributor for Big D movies from '70 to '87.
@frank87it The message at the very beginning saying "Congratulating Mickey Mouse on his 50th Birthday!" rather than reading the Italian text. Thanks to "8to16to35" for this English version.
I saw an English version of this logo on the opening credits to "The Cat From Outer Space" (1978). The message in English read "Congratulating Mickey Mouse on his 50th Birthday!" This means that this logo was used from Mickey's 50th Birthday in 1978!
Also, the colored lines originally had a Buena Vista Distribution tag.
@Kartoonkid95 "8to16to35" has the original opening to "The Cat From Outer Space" with the variant of the 1978 "Neon Mickey" logo with the message is on there if you want to check it out! This is indeed super rare.
the acronym of the cinquantenario of Topolino that came bound together to the Disney films projects to you in the cinemas in season 1978/79, more the brand originates them of distribution CIC, esclusivista Disney for Italy from 1970 to 1987. By nunval
CIC logo and music are beautiful. I think Jerry Goldsmith wrote that score.

The quality is complete shit on this print, particularly because there's some much damage. Who manhandled this?!
Either way, I believe this is a 16mm print.

It appears we may have found the source of the famed Walt Disney Home Video fanfare....

I'll translate that:
La distorsione di velocità, che cosa è accaduto a Mickey al neon?
I don't know what ever happened to Mickey but this is artistic!
Copper20 5 years ago
Wow, what happened to Neon Mickey?
