owen scores more goals than rooney, however rooney scores more spectacular goals and his all round play is smarter. owen is my boyhood hero (after WC 98) and he ALWAYS delivers in the big games foe england (scored in quarter finals at wc 98, 2002 and euro 2004) so hes better player than rooney imo. he such a cheeky finisher can win a game by himself (fa cup final agianst arsenal) but consumate professional, and good role model.
