The SSST is about conditioning and maximum number of reps in 10 minutes. I host the SSST leaderboard on my website and many of the submissions are refused due to the arm not even getting perpendicular to the ground. This is a good representation of a brief lockout for this style of competition. Slightly longer lockouts would be required for a Girevoy Sport competition, which would happen anyway because the contestant would slow down the pace to maximize reps before the ONE hand switch allowed
@145bobby -Testing or not I am simply offering advice regarding acceptable professional form/technique. If it is just a workout -you are right ...Who cares.
The advice was offered in the case that the lifter were to compete or was preparing for competition.
I am not trying to start a debate here -just some constuctive advice. I am an American Kettlebell Club Master Trainer, Certified Coach and Competition Judge. It appears you are using one of our ProGrade Bells -which is great. I also see you are working within a 10-Minute Flight. It is good that you have the conditioning to do such a high rpm -But not a single one of those reps would count in competion -there is no fixation. The bell must come to a complete stop overhead foe at least a beat.

Dude that's impressive. I was happy getting 105 in 5 minutes the other day for the first time.
Your hand switch transition method is much better than mine. I need to try that out.
