it works because the last card, 4 of hearts, is shown for the longest so it is easier to remember. I saw the 6 of diamonds not the 4 of hearts which is in the middle, he didn't get me!

Actually, it can be done that way, but the most common way to do this trick is to tape/glue a folded card to the bottom of the card you want the spectator to see, as this is the simplest and easiest way to do it. Though considering it's David Blaine, he might choose the cleaner version rather than the easier. Therefore you are correct, I guess.

no its because he put a few more than one 4 of heart cards next to each other in the deck. All the other ones were moving so fast that you couldnt see them. But becasue they were next to each other the image is the same, so it sticks in your brain caus its the only one you can see.

this isnt a very hard trick. he just holds the last card a little longer and most people remember the last card they see. as for how he made the card switch to the bottem. i have no idea.

the card he is trying to force (4 of hearts) is not the last card, he has got doubles. The one that he wants you to spot is in the middle of the deck somewhere but he puts a card that has been cut so that it is shorter than the others infront of the 4, this makes the time to view the 4 just a fraction longer than the others, 90% of people will choose this card. He then has a double of the 4 of hearts second from the top of the deck which he reveals at the end.

Hey, I do this trick all the time to force a card. It's a really good one and can have great results. It only works 80% of the time though...
