You can't see the Spirit but you know He's there. He comes by faith.

You can sense air in other ways: touch, thermoception, smell when the air quality is poor, hearing when it 'whistles', pressure detection, etc. Not to mention you can detect it with machinery. Sometimes people believe things that are taught to them without understanding or researching for themselves. We are told to seek the truth for ourselves. If things that are not true are passed on as truth it's unfortunate and it undermines the message that God is trying to share. If you say something out of ignorance It's not lying. One reason the church is floundering is because leaders lead people astray. Sometimes out of ignorance and sometimes on purpose. Too many follow like sheep and don't question. It's not blasphemy to question. When we do find the truth for ourselves it's that much more real to us and therefor noone can sway us. If we take things as fact merely because it was taught then what groundwork do we have to show why it's valid unless we have done the work ourselves.

LordSphinx, you should probably get info from a real biologist, and not a bunch of yucks on YouTube. But the simple answer to your question is that we did not evolve FROM monkeys. We shared a common ancester long, long, LONG ago. Due to environmental conditions, and slight variances in DNA, we evolved differently. Bacteria is still here because nature is symbiotic, and we NEED bacteria to survive & support the food chain.

In science, we use data, analysis, and evidence to come to conclusions. Sometimes, the proofs we might might go AGAINST, what we thought was common sense. When we throw away science, we throw away learning truths.

birds mimic noises, they don't think their own thoughts and vocalise them. also, there was a heck of a lot of organic matter floating round that formed using simple chemistry and went through several stages (look on cdk007's channel, i can't explain here) to become living. not just 'appeared from dirt' as you believe. "spending too much time with sheep" ROFL!! are you serious? constellation were one of the first discoveries in ancient astronomy, the greeks and romans were obsessed with them.

i'll never convince you of why I believe in creation, God, Jesus. I know the truth because when you repent and are born again you are sent the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is real and comes to reside with the "born again" christian for the rest of their life. I have had visions and miraculous answer to prayer. I have my own personal evidence of God. You can't see the Spirit but you know He's there. He comes by faith.

I know this was a long time ago, but what about air..? you can't see it, but you know its there, how about molecules and atoms, etc...just because you can't see something doesn't mean it is real. Science is false on alot of things!! Just because they have been to the moon doesn't make them creators, and therefore dont know everything. It is your own decision that you believe this. You can sense air in other ways: touch, thermoception, smell when the air quality is poor, hearing when it 'whistles', pressure detection, etc. Not to mention you can detect it with machinery. So really there is no doubt about the existance of air. Scientists don't claim to know everything and science is a quest for knowledge, emphasis on 'quest'. I don't see myself ever converting to any religion but I will try to live a good life: is that good enough for your god?

I don't agree with the present court system- note my channel background- which is partly why I don't think that that is a 'perfect' system. Leo Tolstoy would agree and he was a Christian. I see morality as a net benefit-harm relationship. I only 'white' lie and only when doing otherwise would cause more harm than not doing so. I am lazy sometimes but it's my body and I'll sit around on my arse if I want to. I'm not about to be told what to do with my own body when my actions don't harm anyone.
