I'm pretty sure comedians have had some rough times in the business so there's no point in dwelling on the roast where Jamie humiliated him. Jamie took the joke thrown at him like a punk but still & all it was in fact funny how he came back at Doug. Bill Cosby was in my opinion a very effective Stand up comic. He had very good command of his surroundings and extremely comfortable on stage. I think Sinbad was a good stand up comedian and was not any better on a Different World. Of course these are considered clean comedians. They are generally at a disadvantage. That does not appear to be the case with Doug Williams is not a comedian. . BTW I think Bill Cosby and perhaps Sinbad can withstand a Jamie Foxx shaming. Redd would have shamed him
