It's about a boy who grew up being hated because of this monster which lives inside of him. His friends saved him from himself, so his best friend, Sasuke Uchiha, left the village because he wanted to get stronger to kill his brother, the man that wiped out his entire family, Itachi Uchiha, Naruto desperately tried to save him because he knew the person Sasuke was going to is evil Orochimaru. Now he tries to save him.

@lilkidfire I think the basic idea of naruto is great.. i think the problem is that it got "inuyasha syndrome" and they dragged out the show WAY too long with all the filler and flashbacks... then the filler got repetative and you had to suffer thorugh it until all of a sudden you got a glimpse of the plot again for a few episodes and then they make you wait another 20 eps til they find it again.. i like naruto a lot but i see where they are coming from too

Plus, it's painful to see how the female characters play their roles. Anyway back on topic: at least we have Korra to fall back to, though I still am naive when I still long for a Book 4 movie.

You're kinda right about how he didn't learn much( physically and mentally) but that's what makes it so cool when he gets Sage mode and KCM( Kyuubi control mode).

He gets so much stronger and wiser.... Shippuden is all about how the characters grow up.

@lilkidfire Sage mode seems like a cop out that popped out of randomjust to balance the power scale btwn Naruto & Sasuke. Also, the Kyuubi has been the Uchiha's pawn for a long time. Since Sasuke now has EMS, he'll own Naruto. Trust me, it's gonna play out like that. If Sasuke drags the fight out with Naruto using the Kyuubi's powers, it's b/c he's toying with him.

No actually, Sage mode has been used before the Pain arc. It's even been used during the fillers and the original episodes. Personally, I don't think Naruto will win/lose the battle between him and Sasuke.

Besides, Sasuke can't control the Nine Tails because Naruto took it's chakra away from it... basically, the chakra is part of Naruto now.

That doesn't make any sense at all. When you talk in the background, you say something on the foreground. Imagine a foreground, a quiet scenery, when suddenly you hear a scream out of nowhere, would that make any sense? Saving the world is for Aang, where zuko is just a part of it. Even Iroh refused to replace Aang's purpose.
