Victor Davis Hanson (VD) is a real American bigot. He just spews out all sorts of orientalist, eurocentric mythology. Seriously, the world is so much more of a cultural meltingpot than this elitiist recognizes. Who takes the writings of Herodotus at face value- VD that is who. Just take everything literally you read. Isn't that what the dude in SPINAL TAP does? He's not much different than the guy from spinal tap. I would like to have seen VD's ancestors arrive in California with the Joads.
