  • george harrison would have loved this song

  • LOL

  • i love masturbating to this song

  • LMFAO

  • @masterassasn Same. I love the steady pace. No bruising - excellent.

  • The solo @ 1:40 reminds me a lot of a certain theme from Pokémon, very similiar melody.

  • oh compare to the fair clowns will laugh

  • why does someone always have to be the one dick to dislike?

  • rock and roll is a dying music, hip hop and rap are taking over. Kids these days dont grow up listening to led zeppelin. They grow up listening to katy perry and eminem. The raconteurs are a band that is aware of what is happening and now brings rock back to us. Rock is not gone, rock will never be gone. The raconteurs are living proof of this. Rock will be forever

  • @mango8880 Music is always changing.

  • I really want them to come out with a new album. They make great classic rock music! :D

  • cool tune nice groove

  • Absolutelly perfect.

  • I dont recall seeing such big ratio of likes/dislikes, 247/1 as of this day

  • too bad rock n roll music dont matter as much as it used to, like 20 years ago this band would have been a big deal, its like since 94(Kurt´s death) it all went to hell, rock n roll culture disappear, its a shame.

Anyway this album fucking rocks.(can anyone tell me if thats the right way to spell "disappear", im still learning and i forgot how to spell it)

  • @MegaSilverBlood Yes, it's the right spelling. And I for one (I'm 23) don't believe rock and roll culture has disappeared, it just doesn't get the headlines as much any more. But I say let's focus on what we can control.

  • @rtozier2011 thanks man.

  • @MegaSilverBlood No worries. :)

  • @rtozier2011 I think Rock is still just as big as it was years ago, its just now there isn't one band that stands out overall as a rock band, instead of there being 5 or 6 big rock and roll bands always in the charts, there's hundreds of great rock bands that all have big fan bases. The people that make it into the charts now are what rock was years ago, there's a couple of them with huge fan bases that are always in the charts.

  • This is how songs should be - Inventive, retrospective and creative..

  • love this song

  • It's a Brendan Benson song, people...

  • @babaolgas

please leave the room with your head lowered in shame.

  • 1 people didn´t like this??? ohhh it´s very good... here in brazil, people don´t listen this song but i like ...

  • @babaolgas he just didnt know what to do. you could tell he was feeling awkward.

  • Love this song..

  • Can you please put the lyrics in the description? Thanks! (:

Just had to say this to you all,

    rock on good people!

  • It's Consolers of The Lonely, just letting you know you spelt it wrong :)

  • @alexandrahawkhead But you spelled "spelled" wrong.

  • @JayFreemanMusicnMore

    spell 1 |spel|

verb ( past and past part. spelled |speld| or chiefly Brit. spelt |spelt|) [ trans. ]

    spelt.

  • 1 person sucks

  • 3:52 "Just Kiddin"

  • well thought you two. you havnt thougth about the aspect that i dont give a damn fckn sht about exactly what kind of music this is. its just AW- so good that you have to wait -SOME!!!!

  • Incredible song !!

  • i simply dont get what element in this song would bring someone to press the dislike button.. there simply is nothing to dislike, even if you dont necessarily like this kind of music, you cant hate this song

  • The one who dislikes this video will like it when he'll be old enough.

  • dead weather sucked thats why he dropped that ass already! raconteurs and stripes fuckin rock.

  • @mikebels559 yeah i do believe the dead weather are still together....white stripes are the band they dropped.. RIP

  • I squueeed and bit my own knuckle!!

  • the real genius in this song is jack lawrence! listen to that bassline, im a bassisnt myself and it is NOT easy to come up with something like that

  • this piece is amazing, jack is a genius

  • Why does this remind me kind of blind melon

  • 0 dislike, they got it right today

  • For MY FRIEND JAKE!! XOXO

  • i love 2:37

  • I just love love their bluegrass aproach!

  • @CubeableGame I like how you spell approach. :)

  • uhm...fuck yes!

  • i loved this song on 90210

  • brendaaaaan xD

  • it's impossible to NOT listen to The Switch and the Spur after this...

  • I would have to agree with llyawen since they are totally to different types of bands. White Stripes is all about hard rock and guitar solos, while Raconteurs is more blue grass rock music, and dont forget Jack whites other band Dead Weather which is more of like a new age of rock

  • @hihosailerlife23 yeah and dead weather has that incredible infusion of blues and hard rock. so unique and fantastic

  • @hihosailerlife23 'e's really a "Jack" of all trades isn't he?

  • @hihosailerlife23 um white stripes are not all about guitar solos and such um there is a lot of amazing acoustic songs so hmmmmm think before you speak:P

  • @hihosailerlife23 lol, hard rock and guitar solos? the white stripes...heeeeeheee HA wow

  • I think Jack White is reaching a much higher potential here than with Meg. The White Stripes did some great stuff, but The Raconteurs is just so much more interesting musically.

  • i agree

  • I really wouldn't say so. What people seem to forget about the Stripes is that they are not a classic rock band, like The Raconteurs are, but the Stripes are all about the maximum-reduction of their music. The whole "drum+guitar"-act is so straightforward and intense - thats the whole point.

Its in not comparable exactly to this kind of music here - its a very differen approach to the same core of Rock&Roll we all love, and Jack excells at both approaches.

  • All because they're different approaches or types of music doesn't make them uncomparable. For example, I would say Pearl Jam is about a billion times better than Lil' Wayne. Both are different types of music but one is clearly better. In this case, The Raconteurs are better.

  • @Ilyawen eloquently put my friend
