@DrEdRichtofen115 If you're trying to imitate the 2010 version, go for a sort of guttural laugh. Also, make it grim and low-pitched, even if it's one of the character's higher laughs -- he has a dark voice, so that affects his laughter. Another thing to consider is the pacing; there's a specific speed to the 2010 version's laugh, in that it's more sinister than wildly evil. Watch some movie footage and you'll see what I mean. Hope that helps!

The remake was too sane for me... What happened to the human cockroaches and puppet people? I know those were in the later movies but... eh the remake was still enjoyable to watch both Freddy's were good, but team Englund forever!

@Nicki583 I like Englund more, though JEH did good. And personally, I liked how sane it was; it gave the impression that this Freddy isn't intent on having fun. He's hellbent on revenge, and is taking it more seriously than Freddy did in the sequels. But then again, it's arguably scarier when your tormentor is having fun with hurting you, as the Englund version clearly was.

@Razor9350 that's true, the new director did to a pretty good job too, I loved Freddy's sense of humor in the old ones, not that he didn't have one in the remake but Robert Englund had genius quotes.

@Nicki583 Well I think they wanted to step away from over the top kills as that's what started ruining the series as they kept trying to top the last film and by time we got to five it got pretty silly. As for Englund no one will ever come close to him as Kruger, I mean the man gave me nightmares for years growing up but honestly he's in his 60's now and listening to him actually hype JEH it's obvious he felt it was time to step aside and let someone else be Kruger, still miss Robert's though

@XZERO1011 I wouldn't say it's badly done, but the original was vastly superior. With those beady eyes, burnt teeth in his wicked smile, his mutilated flesh.... combined with the sound of his blades and his laugh, the original was the stuff of nightmares. However, I can't imitate him very well, so the 2010 version will have to do.
