lets see what i find awsome about this show:

1. it got a helicopter with inbuilt jet engine.

2. the boss is a guy with a eye patch.

3. the engineer is a positive happy face, until its a test drive.

4. theme it self gets your blood pumping even if the show has not realy started :P

5. allways a new enemy to defete or put under the big bok of the law :)

in other words the show hade allot of positive things and Knight Rider hade allmost the same thing just that the car talks.

It's a Bell 222A with twin Lycoming LTS101 650C3 engines. I worked for Lycoming as the West Coast tech rep at the time. The guys at Bell Helicopters in Van Nuys called it "Air Dog" because in real life the machine was a bit underpowered by engines that weren't quite mature at the time. Many problems. This machine was sold from Jet Copters in Van Nuys to a corporate owner in Germany and was shipped out of the country as soon as it was sold.

When I was a child I can still remember getting all excited every time this show came on

sadly it was teh end of jan after they cancelled the show i heard he hit the bottle and drugs big time and is now living in a trailer in some park somewhere but the actual helicopter. It was repainted and eventually sold to the German helicopter charter company, Hubschrauber-Sonder-Dienst , and given the registration number D-HHSD. While operating as an air ambulance the helicopter crashed in a thunderstorm on June 9, 1991, killing its three passengers.
