@BBCater The sane rational thing to do is put all the for-profit insurance companys out of buisness, they are the problem. Paul Ryan is aginst any sort of goverment payer insurance yet his solution is to take tax payer dollars and use them to pay insurance companys to provide coverage. Insurance companys are the problem and the cons will never admit to that.

There may be some impoverished sorts who are slightly better off now (give a fish, rather than teach to fish), but the general populace NEVER benefits in the long-term from centralized redistribution. @BBCater What we could do is what Switzerland did for healthcare in 1994 and reform Pharma and make all insurance companys non-profit. Not all countrys have Gov run healthcare. Switzerlands care is more privatized than ours is and there system works great because they got rid of the parisite insurance companys.

@BBCater Social Secureity will be on budget untill the 2030s and that is after the goverment taking money out of it and the only reason why Medicare is loosing money is because of hucksters like Paul Ryan that voted for Medicare Part D and that said the gov cannot negotiate lower drug prices or import cheaper drugs from Canada. After Part D was passed Tom Delay had to change the rules so Billy Tozen could work as a Pharma Lobbyist. The fact is the cons broke it so they could say it does not work

It doesn't appear that he has presidential aspirations at this point, but if you put him one on one with Obama it wouldn't be a contest. Obama's approval rating currently at 47%. If he makes it till the end of the term, I'm sure it will be below 35%.

Congressman we cannot afford the first stimulus package let alone a second one. Get some guts and explain to the media just how broke this nation is. The only solution to the recession is to let companies fail and liquidate the debt. The valuable assets will be bought and used by other companies. This will be painful but it is better than just printing money to pay our "stimulus" bills. You guys in Washington are setting us up for hyperinflation. When that happens what will we do?
