About two hours ago,I watched an old Fatty Arbuckle short filmed at the original Luna Park on TCM;afterwards,Robert Osborne mentioned this new Luna,saying it was designed in the style of a turn-of-the-century park.

The last time I heard a claim like that when I visited Boardwalk-N-Baseball in the late 80's---THAT place was a waste of time.This actually looks pretty good.

I went on Saturday, On opening dday and I love the new coney, 7 of the 19 rides were still not operating. I'll be going back for sure...Once you leave the new LUNA park you see the ghetto once again... Oh well maybe in do time it will be all new again..

Bravo! Just what Coney Island needs. Build as many rides as possible and be true to the tradition of this legendary place. Zamperla is doing a great job, the rides are well designed.

It's going to be nice to see something so pretty and shiny new in Coney this summer that is also respectful of the Coney Island tradition. And some of those rides might even be tame enough for me!

This place actually looks pretty cool. A great park for anyone who doesn't necesarily like big roller coasters. Although, there is either an error with the programming, or one of the planes on the air race (1:12) has a serious malfunction (it's not swinging).
