@benhakak I think you can get through with less if you glitch through the other door that is locked first.

@benhakak you can complete the whole game with 0 stars if you really want to (the only thing you need to do are the 3 bowser battles, they are all reachable with glitches like this one)

i used a different glitch for the previous door and ended up with 17 stars then when i tried to do this glitch it wouldn't work but then the door let me through without enough stars and. i can also go to the final battle without enough stars. im not sure if this is an emulation glitch or a normal one

you have to repeatly tap A while doing it.  It takes practice :-)

Ha ha, I tried this glitch, it took like 30 tries but I made it.

I was actually lazy so I just did this glitch so I don't have to collect 80 friggen' stars.

YES. Yoshi is on top of the castle. With 120 stars, the vent in front of the castle, near the pond, opens. You jump in that, it's a castle. Then you shoot yourself onto the castle top. From there, you find Yoshi saying you've beat the game.
