But don't confuse criticism with negativity. Constructive criticism (to be more precise) is actually positive, because it shows that the person (who is criticising) cares about it.

Just bitching and complaining without offering solutions is not what I consider constructive criticism though. That stuff falls more into your hatred category hehe.

Here's a tip for everyone: When someone says or does something particularly negative, don't respond right away...unless they're accusing you of something...even then, let the boiling calm to a simmer so you're better able to respond with intelligence...or not at all.

Wonderful message! So true online and offline! We need to focus on the quality of our circle of friends and not on the quantity which seems to be the trend these days on twitter and elsewhere. I rather have 100 positive creative and amazing friends than 10,000 people I barely know mixed with a ton of negative types. Thanks to GaryVee for sharing this!
