  • Funny how these folks probably feared Oakland a few months ago and would not dream of living here. But squatting, free living and random acts of violence and destruction and they are coming over in droves. I hate my city council.

  • You are an ass hat.

  • I live in SF and I was in Oakland today in the Grand Lake area. It's actually a decent place with a good vibe.

  • They are anarchist honkies. Mostly from Berkeley, and S.F. Ca. They infuriate peaceful demos to cause havoc.

  • I believe this was a well planned provocation...

  • "everyone has the right to protest but not to destroy there community" Best words I heard all week.

  • interview the surprised man

  • There is a good chance that these people doing the damage are actually police officer Infiltrators and Provocateurs. There are many videos on here of police doing just that. Here is one of Oakland police infiltrators watch?v=VrvMzqopHH0

  • We're holding an Occupy Marin rally...were protesting such egregious issues as the rising prices of merlot and the heating bills for our summer homes. Please feel free to attend.

  • please do another naked people walking around episode !

  • the video everyone was asking and waiting abt ...finally !!!

  • Interview Phil Tagami.

  • Maybe the actual 1% (the rich and powerful) sent these thugs in to undermine the movement. Wouldn't be too hard to do.

  • In before someone claims it was Anonymous or LulzSec.

  • "The Black Bloc" is sometimes incorrectly reported as being the name of a specific anarchist group. It is, rather, a tactic that may be adopted by groups of various motivations and methods.

    That's some great reporting there.

  • @soulwound1 Actually according to Police sources that is the name they are calling themselves.

  • @TVman1981 What the hell i am from an anarchist collective in oakland and your saying we are not from oakland or cali sir you are misinformed... Revolt is coming...

  • @blackmesa176 He did not say, you are not from the Oakland area moron. He said the Black Bloc is not from the Oakland area.

  • @soulwound1 It's the name that group called themselves. Stanley got it right.

  • @soulwound1 Nice plagiarism. Copied and pasted straight from Wikipedia.

  • In Mexico, groups like those are paid by high officials to discredit the peaceful protesters.

It's something to seriously think about.

  • @mrkotfw god i'd love to hear the story.

  • @feldman30012 It was a few years ago and I watched it on the news (from Mexico).

From what I recall, many students from a university were having a peaceful protest to pressure the state governor to resign after accusations of corruption.

The protest turned sour (riot) after a group of "students" started to act aggressively against the police. That of course allowed the media to portray the students as violent hoodlums discrediting their peaceful protest.

Don't quote me on that ;)

  • @mrkotfw should be done a lot more here

  • I'm glad you're talking about the anarchists who are screwing things up. I have a suspicion this was the same group that started 2 Oscar Grant riots and the riots in S.F. during the 2008 Olympic protests. There is so much video of them it's ridiculous but they're always covered up and no one ever seems to detain them. There was one guy almost caught yesterday then the Occupy crowd swamped them and let the anarchists go.

  • What about when the state or nation bombs a country and calls them enemies?

What about when banks launder money to drug cartels?

    What about economic hitmen?

I am just wonder why it's ok for the state to wage violence, but when people resist their violence with their own, it's bad.

    Hmmm, sounds like a contradiction.

you need to read some more history my dear friend

  • I mean your vid that you did, I saw that on the News.

  • I was counting on this.

  • Morons. No matter the group, you're going to have those fringe agitators that make the entire group look bad. They will do anything to reek havoc, no matter who ends up paying for it in the end.

  • if you occupy Beverly Hills you have to pay rent

  • SHITS FUCKED UP

  • I'm glad you followed Elmo shirt guy's advice on covering Oakland.

  • @RMurray8874 Listen to the track closely, I had no intention because I feel everyone has the right to protest however with the vandalism that took place it became my department. It had nothing to do with Elmo Shirt Guy LOL

  • @TVman1981 - I feel as though even though the preceding story about the driver, had nothing to do with this.....this is a seperate issue, that had nothing to do with him.... I agree with you. Even though you covered this story, I agree with this video you did, and what you said in your comments. Keep up the good work!

  • you really should correct that mono audio, it drives me crazy -_-
