Today I ll be sad that I hear to my parents and learn a bullshit job in an office. :-(

yes we have to have a break after 5 .5 hours and be off the road 11 hours by law bub some drivers use 2 or 3 log books as long as you do not hand the rong one to police as you will give you a fine it can be up to $ 4 000 or more as well take your drivers licence off you as long as thay like its up to the courts over here

@JohnDeereBoy100 although it is law, in practice it is very common for them to do a LOT more, I've had trucks turn up that had been going for 20+ hour straight to get to our station

@JohnDeereBoy100 Hello mate you can drive 14 hours but you must have BFM Basic Fatigue Management. Its a short course you do on the net. Cost $180.00. and the company you drive for must be accredited as well. Then you have AFM Advanced Fatigue Management. thats 16 hours driving. If you really keen you can get a third way over to Perth from Melbourne. Basically east coast to West. On a 16 hour block. It way to long for my liking and way to dangarous. Enjoy

Do the truck drivers down under have a time limit that there not suposed to drive for more than 12 hours a day??

yeah 12 hours is the limit but you can do a safety course that takes the cap to 14 hours a day.
