Aside from just buying any political party's line, one needs to see the true issue here. First there are countries in the world with coalition gov't and they are running fine. This is how constitutional democracy works! In a democratic gov't there will always be compromise, not the non-transparency act that Harper himself had passed even though the Conservatives said they won't do such a thing when they were in opposition a long time ago.

This plan is BS as they say jobs are coming back. No where close to the jobs lost. Who can afford to retrain or go to school, as the grants and shit are mere pennies compared to inflation and the economy. Someone will fill your spot for less and leave you screwed. The powers cannot be shifted between the two as it is unconstitutional, which means there is no law for the fed to collect this. By experience I know this as a US Army vet and also as a Federal Officer in DHS among my fellow personnel that speaks of this.

Too bad that some of the officers could not break off; siding w/ the people than the "system" - I'm sure there are those that don't the system & others that don't care only about their job security and not get arrested and/or fired from employment.

I was at the G20 in Toronto, I was one of the 1100 people arrested and brought to the detention centre and released without charge. I personally saw multiple violations of Canadian citizen's Charter of Rights and Freedoms by our own Canadian police officers the weekend of the G20. I have no trust in our government nor our police.
