I got up to bring him to his cage for the night, and he suddenly downloaded(enormously!) on the floor. He looked straight at me and said, 'Okay?' as if to get my approval for NOT doing that in my lap as we sat on the couch! Of course I told him it was VERY Okay!

@MissPickletoes That would be the COOLEST thing!! You REALLY need to record some of those horse sounds to play for Valentine. That would be so outrageous. That is quite a growl she has. An entire barnyard in one critter!! Never a dull moment.
Hello Jan! first of all were you trying to put a collar on him?? Well now The Strundebear loves me!! YEAH! And i got him really soft food! I think it's called Prime Select (in the frig pet section) of my local market mixed 1 teaspoonb with Market Select from Meow Mix and he ate it all! Then shortly after that when I thought I failed him he came running up to me and rubbed his head in my hand! And of a course I started bawling! I'm so happy that he didn't stay mad at me forever!! ♥ ♥ ♥
@MissPickletoes So am I! I checked in to micro chipping and it'll cost $35.00 + I have to get his second series of shots done next week! Or the week after! My Maxx laughed so hard at Valentine's growl! That would scare anyone off! Thanks again Jan!
My bird is the same way! She'd be talking, and by the time I get the camera out, she goes mute! thats preety awesome that valentine growls though, smart bird lol
@IamMohawk Good idea! I will recruit my son to man the camera so I can serenade my bird! But I have to keep some distance as the NAF looks too much like something to beak-whittle! ;-)
Valentine is indeed a genius. And a shameless ham. He seems to love showing off when I turn the camera on him. I expect he will learn other languages as he gets older!
