I have watched this episode several times now and still can't believe how emotional Stana Katic can make me become even thuo I know the outcome, each time I watch her ,my chest gets tight and tears fill my eyes when that explosion occurs and the look on her face wondering if Castle made it or not. I was thinking, the second time Kate smiles to Castle (just before Martha interrupts) it seems like she wants to shout "Come on, say something!! show me that you're all right, I've been dying for the last two hours so please, I really need to hear the sound of your voice, to make sure you're okay!!". And actually this long and boring sentence that would have sound so cliché and 'third-rate film' was simply summed up in a beautiful smile :) Stana is just amazing, that was an Emmy-winning smile!
If this doesn't go down in history as one of the BEST CASKETT SCENES EVER I don't know what will. But I know there's more of them coming! My spidey senses are tingling!!

You know, Kate's smiling is so dazzling that it's not surprising Castle was speechless. These two can communicate more with their eyes and expressions in these 48 seconds than most actors can with an entire script.
Stana and Nathan are brilliant. They can tell you so much just with their eyes. When you look at them you don't need words to explain what Beckett and Castle feel.
I just love her tone when she asked Castle "How are you?" All that softness, it sounds like she was touching a very very thin egg shell, and was so very afraid it's gonna crack. These actors are good =)
also, what makes this moment even more significant is that it's the first time Martha actually gets to see how much Beckett cares about her son and that their feelings are mutual. after processing that, i don't even mind that she interrupted them.. well ok i do but not so much anymore xD gahh this episode brought so much movement in the relationship, i can't get over it.
Wow what a beautiful and amazing scene - I think Beckett knew if she touched Castle's cheek she couldn't have controlled all her overwhelming emotions and we all know where that would have lead - dammit!

ok like at first i was like martha nooo!! but then i realized after a little while that if she didnt do that then they might not have realized how much they do love eachother if that makes since. like that night when they think about what happened that moment when she said hes not the only one you know is what will make them think of omg we were so close to a kiss or hug or somthing to express our love!!! like it makes them want eachother more!!! omg this seemed so real award winning job Stana!

Ok, just like everybody else my first thought was 'Oh come on, Martha you can't do that!!' but when you think about it, it would have been soooo weird if they had kissed at that moment... with 20 people around, looking at them... Actually no, my first thought was 'oh my God... that smile... one of the reason I love Stana so much' :D my heart must have skipped a beat or two ;P

First of freakin best episode this season. Definately top 2 if not my absolute favorite ever! So many caskett moments! Especially this scene and the paramedic scene! Aaggghh the holding hands was breth taking! So umm Andrew Marlowe, when you finally get beckett and castle together you better make it awesome! Not cheesy but epic! Aaggghh great job Stana!
