  • its sad how most fathers are this way...its always because they want to have sex and get all the pleasure they want from a woman but dont even think about the pain they will bring to their son or daughter....To most guys, sex is a game and a pleasure to make them feel good about them selves. Thats why im happy to have a dad that loves me and i will follow his examples and become the best dad i can be. A REAL man stays with his family nomatter what the cost.

  • this guy is a great actor he can do anything i want to cry when he does sad scenes and laugh when he does comedy movies. he is amazing

this scene touch my hart so bad.

  • @OptimusPrime289 I did.

  • dayum shame

  • but it's will smith! crying is beneath will smith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can't even call him dad, trajik.

  • i get shivers when i watch this

  • sappy

  • pff saw this over 50 times and still i'm tearing up..damn

  • One of the best shows in TV history.

  • What an ASSHOLE

  • Just like my dad...only I don't have a rich uncle lol

Fuck it, just take on life with what you have, don't need people to drag you down

  • i like this...because this continues to happen in life...

  • I wont lie i think this is the only show on tv that ever got a tear out of my i was touched by this momment

  • I hope the butler, Geoffrey, was waiting outside and beat the shit out of Lou.

  • @ChaseTerrier he did. he poured a kettle full of english tea over his head

  • cut the crap! go uncle phil

  • What really made me upset about this episode was that in the beginning, Lou said he wanted to be a part of Will's life. Then at the end, he just bailed on Will like the deadbeat he is. That's cold. He gave Will false hope.

  • This breaks my heart every time. Will's dad was selfish and heartless in this episode. Smh.

  • Nothing bad to say about this vid. It's my fave episode and the sadest. It is so real.

  • @HaitianPersuasion199 umm what's wrong with that? Everyone comes to a point sometime in their life where they are brought to tears and if you deny it for yourself then you must be a robot

  • It is sad that fathers actually do this to their children in real life. I am glad that I have my father in my life. I just know that when I am looking for a husband, he better be there for not only me but for our children as well.

  • i never cryed to a movie before and when i watched this i cryed both times i seen it

  • This is just like my life, my dad wasnt away but never looked at me , now he is gone and he still doesnt look at me , this scene gives me tears everytime :'(

  • Story of my life.

  • this just brings me to tears. how could anybody leave there son thats just so fucked up

  • This episode makes me cry every single time. Will Smith is an amazing actor.

  • THE BEST EPISODE EVER

  • this episode gets me every time

  • is he an (.......) or not?

  • @C0L3TR41NOWNZ do u feel a bit feminine now

  • I love that statue of a father holding his son. Still sad though.

  • Best acting ever, such an emotional scene. Will Smith deserves an award for that. Two thumbs up.

  • Such a raw display of emotion & this was before Will transferred to any big screen roles, let alone SERIOUS ones. AMAZING.

  • i no longer feel masculine but feminine since i teared up to this

  • @jigglyfidda125 Takes a man to admit to tearing up. I admit, I did too, and I really did cry because of this.

  • "It was great seeing you son."

"It was great seeing you too. Lou."

    Damn.

  • dead beat

  • im really mad about not having a father i dont know if i should forgive him for leaving my mom even that i never seen him or just still be mad

  • too bad you can't see the teardrop well at 5:01

  • @GHNIGGAS he is

  • @Jackass8743 atleast you talked too him i never talked too my father but i will one day

  • The father was only postponing the trip a few weeks, whats the big deal?

  • @Freddyphelp Maybe the trip never happened afterwards and Will already knew it.

  • @Freddyphelp dude he's walking back out on wills life >.>

  • @Freddyphelp hes leaving for good dude him saying he has to postpond the trip is his excuse for not wanting to take will with him. he doesnt want to straight up say i dont want to take wll with me and dont want him in my life

  • I know about 5 men off the top of my head who are better men then that asshole.

  • Im in the same situation as will, but im 17 and aint seen my father at all. When i was young i used to cry myself to sleep wondering why he didn't want me as well. but now that im older im more thankful for my mum and how strong she is. If i see my father (Which i dont want to) its too late for him to make things right. all i know is that when i have kids no matter what the situation is i'll be there for them all the time.

  • @VybeZ93 i feel your pain i never saw my dad he is just some dildo having a good life with a new family if i see him im gonna i just call him a matress hopping whore frog and im mad becouse my mom never told me about him

  • The Instrumental To This Is So Tight!

  • once again chicken george walks out on his family

  • It hurts

  • im fuckin cryin n shit now goddamn

  • If this was a movie. Will Smith would've won the OSCAR for this scene. Will smith is a triple threat, and get this everyone. He was so good as an actor that he didnt get any training and the 1st couple of episodes of the 1st season, you can actually see will smith murmuring the other lines of the other actors. Which means he memorized not only his, but the whole script..WOW, that is dedication and TALENT!! which WILL SMITH HAS!! Ya'll pls give me a thumbs up =) I hooked you up wit some triviaLOL

  • @freedomland11 you mean a Golden Globe. Oscar doesn't give awards for tv shows, Golden Globe is as high as you're gonna get with TV shows.

  • @TrueSake he said if this was a movie bro

  • @TrueSake I said "If this was a movie" in the beginning remember?!! =)

  • @TrueSake i thought it was the emmys

  • @freedomland11 give me thums up please :::((( .. ur pathetic

  • @SebasRabet Hey.. 55 thumbs up ain't bad...just a micro in my daily life..to see My thumbs up!!

  • Wow. How old was Will in this scene? THIS is acting. Amazing how he goes from sarcasm to pain in just a few seconds. Hats off.

  • Pure emotion

  • i really wish i knew my father

  • This must be one of the best acting scenes ever made

  • "How come he don't want me"........Something noone should have to ask :(

  • This gets to me every time I'm so thankful my didn't run out on my family

  • Sad. So sad

  • So his dad chooses business over spending time with his son...WOW. It sickens me that there are ACTUALLY people like this.

  • This gets me everytime. Praise to all the great dads out there. Fuck the rest

  • Uncle Phil FTW

  • i love this episode even if it does make me tear up

  • this video made me cry a lot. will found his dad and they bounded together for a short time. will was happy and lou could have been a father for once of his life and he did not do a good job at it. it makes me think that i'm never going to find out who my biological father is and i want to meet him at least once and get a chance to get to know him. he doesn't need to be around for the rest of my life but i would like to at least bound one day and that's all i want.

  • dang near teared up at work, crap!!

  • ... can i hit him ??

  • this made me cry ;( i love will smith, he's such an amazing actor !!!

  • Will Smith is an amazing actor, i swear if this scene doesnt bring a tear to your eyes at least then you have no heart..its so sad =[

  • my dad made 5 accounts and disliked this video...

  • sad moment =[

  • one of the most powerful moments in this series

  • I got linked to this from a comedy article about Very Special Episodes, but I'm not laughing

  • The statue really made me cry. It's so symbollic. And to think their are people in the world who do this. I love how this is a comedy but at times like this it displays a serious problem in today's world.

  • @knjazvovk

    fist urself

  • @artiscallychallenged

Statistically, there is strong evidence that is true. Many blacks are born out of wedlock and the "fathers" abandon them because they can't afford child support. Hell, there are stories in the news of negroes jumping out of buildings to get out of paying it. Stereotypes exist for a reason.

  • @knjazvovk

to be honest with u, its not cuz they cant pay child support, mainly because they deny there kids, dont want to pay child support, or think they have too many thinks todo that is more important than raising a child. im done talking about, please dont reply to me.

  • @knjazvovk

u must be a faggot, becuase im a boy turning you down, yes i am black, and got no problem wit it. call me a niigga, cuz i know u will, lol, ive been called worse

  • @knjazvovk

lol, wow, ur funny, but racist shit heads like u, only envy the race they hate because of there determination, pride, and perserverance, in this crappy world, and ur depressed that you dont have a pride story to tell your kids. i cant change a racist its ur view, go fuck yourself. all i have to say. if u look at ur crotch, the WORLD can see why ur mad. but hey, at least im smart enough to hit the BLOCK button, :P, faggot

  • @knjazvovk

Your an idiot do you know that? I'm a german and even here in in Germany we got a lot of different accents and dialects and don't talk all the same german. Are these people also not supposed to get a good job and somethin'? No! If you're an american civilian you should know that even your country got a lot of different slangs in your language and also different dialects but nonetheless such people get a decent job. It's not about which dialect, it's about what do you got!

  • Comment removed

  • @knjazvovk You realize everytime you say these ignorant things, that you are fulfilling another stereotype. Good job you arrogant, hypocritical, racist pig. Who cares if someone doesn't type proper on youtube? Just because they don't, doesn't mean they can't.

  • @knjazvovk You may have a lot of things but common sense & decency are apart of it. The fact that we're commenting on a post of a black sitcom that is about a well to do black family starring the HIGHEST paid actor who's also black prove your comment is without merit. I don't know where you're from & frankly I don't care, but I know where you can go TO HELL

  • @knjazvovk Wow i bet your White, huh?

So why is it that white people are ALSO on welfare

Or White people ALSO walk out on their Kids?

Your a dumb-ass for living in this day and age where People are more accepting of others. people like you are the jackasses that shouldn't be allowed to live here. I'm proud to be Black. I'm a Black man with a future, Smarts, and Kindness. and stupid ignoramus People like you wont slow me down because i WILL show love to my children.

  • @knjazvovk fuck you you racist pig

  • @knjazvovk Fuck you, you stupid piece of shit.Get off here and fuck off.Just because no one loves you doesn't meant you have to trash other people bitch.

  • that was horrible and i hate Lou >:( what he did makes me so angry. this is like with my ex's son as well

  • this episode, actually made me cry

  • @artiscallychallenged

omg same here and ima dude! I dont even know why I clicked on this clip this part made me water up in the eyes everytime I see it.. haha. Good Acting Will BRAVO!

  • @dcephus87

yea, i cry everytime time to this because this is the exact same thing that goes thru my head. me being a better person with a dad, and someday a better father, tear jerker.

  • I know exactly how Will feels right now. I really do. I just broke up with someone who I thought loved me and.... and I feel so unwanted by everyone right now. :'( You know. The powers of a broken heart.

  • They made me cry and I hardly cry!

  • Fuck the 5 dead beat pussy "fathers" who disliked this video.

  • Man you have to watch the episode from the begining coz it makes this scene even more sad as will gets so attached to him the whole episode then this happens

  • @hakinater will had to protect his father from the beginning of the episode. And already when he says "You too...Lou" goddamn

  • MY MOTHER WAS EATING MY SHOULDER IN SORROW when this aired.

  • Awww man, this made me cry.

  • Uncle Phil is a great father.

  • I can relate Wills feelings so damn good. I had a familiar experience back then. My father just left and was never there when I could've needed some good paternal advices in things like women or somethin'. I had all this expierences to figure out by myself and it wasn't definitely easy but that made me to the person I am today. At least I have today a good relationship to my father but back then I wished him to hell!

  • @fireball2985 i dont know my father im gonna find him and beat the crap out of him

  • You know he's a good acter if he can do that live with 50+ people watching and not make a mistake :)

  • I SEEN THIS LATE AT NIGHT N I WAS LIKE DAMN,I FILL WILL ON THIS

  • Will shoved some powerful acting skills in this one..

  • holy shit that actually bought a tear to my eye

  • When Shredder talks to you, you'd better listen.

  • Makes me appreciate my father.

  • Not saying much, but this single scene is leagues better than anything Tyler Perry has ever made. You wouldn't expect such sincere and amazing acting in a TV-comedy, but there it is.

  • @Davideogamer

nah man, thats saying a Lot. Tyler Perry can never stand a candle to this 5 minute clip

  • This scene deserves an award for best acting of all time.

  • best scene in tv history, no doubt

  • the best scene on earth

  • @JozhsterV2 Uh... why?

  • @FarTooHuman just the suddeness of it lol

  • I never cry in movies or shows, but when I saw this the first time (a LONG time ago), I actually cried a little bit.

  • "bcos i am the best..." just like how will likes to say it...like father like like son...LOL

  • Man this is a powerful episode. Everytime i see it i my eyes get watery. Guess i can relate. I done had almost 25 bdays with my dad and i know when the time come i will never walk out on my kids.

  • almost seems like its not acting..great scene

  • Ya know, my father was always a real asshole. Really, he was. But he was *there*. And so even when I'm cursing him, I always thank him for being a father when I needed him. He had the balls to stick around when something unexpected like a kid happened.

To all fathers who think that ditching their kids is an easy way out...

    Go Fuck Yourself.

  • greatest episode but also very sad

  • "You too...Lou."

Easily one of the most stinging lines in TV history. That one hurt MY feelings.

  • @TheSKSpecial they say that in Chuck lol
