What size screen were you using and what software did you use to rip the image? Any help would be great, i do standard spot colors right now and I am trying to start process printing
That’s a great question. You can print the YMC in any order you want. Sometimes depending on the colors in the design we mix it up. We usually start with YMCK. It is standard to print the lightest colors first. By printing the yellow first it can soak into the fabric so it does not disappear when you lay down the darker colors. CMYK printing is all about consistency and getting the set up right.
They are Union 4 color process inks. They are that runny out of the bucket. They are runny and transparent so that the colors can mix on the shirt and create millions of colors.
Thanks for the complement. We do a lot of 4 color process work. I would guess the guru's say 4 color process can not be done on a manual. It can. Our press keeps very tight registration. The key is to keep your strokes consistent. We use 20/24 inch 305 mesh screens with unions process inks on our Workhorse 6/6. On white shirts you don't have to clean the screen. We have printed hundreds wet on wet with no problems. On dark's its a different story.
@doskalata everyone show they works but nobody explain really How To make a CMYK process... I really need an explanation from photoshop to the dryer :)
thats good work

You just did what a lot of gurus say can't be done. What screen size are you using? How many can you do before you have to clean the screens?
