  • My sister (8 yrs) and I (2 yrs) are both on Copaxone, I don't believe that anyone should stop taking prescribed Medications. I do believe that they can find supplements that do help with Fatigue/Weakness/Restless leg syndrome. I don't think early trauma causes MS. My sister and I believe it is inherited, just a vulnerable genetic make up.

  • My sister was diagnosed in 2003 and I in 2010 we are both on Copaxone and we both live fairly normal lives. The only time she had a relapse was when she was sick of taking injections so she stopped. She lost full use of the left side of her body for 1 week. She quickly restarted and has been good since.

  • I'm on Copaxone, too, and I beg to differ with Dr. Mercola, but this immunomodulator is not "toxic and dangerous." It has stopped the progression of my symptoms in its tracks, as did the MS drug I took previously, Avonex. It's always true that our mileage may vary with these medications, but in my own case, I credit them with impressive, dramatic results. He's absolutely right-on, though, where vitamin D is concerned; its lack is a proven contributor toward MS susceptibility.

  • all ailments have an emotional component ; it is not outrageous to suppose that an emotional injury sustained at a very young age can greatly contribute to an autoimmune disorder;especially since statistical evidence backs this up.

  • childhood emotional injury = MS in adults??

    BS!!!

  • As someone who has been on Copaxone for MS since 2002 with great results and very few side effect, I think people with MS should be careful before stopping medications. Also, I have never heard about an "emotional injury" prior to age 5 leading to MS. Remember just because it is on the web does not make it true. Eating raw meat and eggs will lead to other health problems.

  • Thank you for your suggestions! I am taking the 50.000 units of Vitamin D and I am very careful with my diet. Many are the things that I try to do to try to get better! My MS is a very active one, so it's important to do many things to try to slow it down!

    Thank you for helping!

    Hugs,

    Angela

  • Check our my exclusive video of Montel Williams talking about being diagnosed with MS and the one pill he always makes sure he takes! Recorded 6/27/09! Don't miss it!

  • hell even antibiotics that people eat on a daily basis to fight cold symptoms are killing all good microbes and bacteria in ur digestive system. talk about toxic medicine

  • Also I think an important note to make is aspartame and MSG.. both products appear to damage the brain and i have read studies where they have lead to misdiagnosis of neurological troubles.. like lupis and MS.. but avoiding brain tumors, holes in the bbb and effects of excitotoxins just sounds like a good idea

  • I seen videos here on you tube where MS patients were using hemp oil and Cannabis as medicine also with good effect. Why don't the scientific community look into it?

  • Apparently Colorado is a place in which this disease suddenly can appear out of no where. I imagine that there is a correlation between radioactivity and this autoimmune disorder.

  • What do you think about bee sting therapy? What about detox foot pads? I agree that steroids are a big mistake. They supress the immune system and what you really need to do is build up and repair your immune system not destroy it!

  • PLEASE do a video on sudden hearing loss.

  • I love this video and the information, but some people that have MS are not open to advice. In fact I once knew someone that had MS and would send her articles on treatment when I would come across them, and she eventually sent an email to her contacts list saying something to the effect of please don't send any treatment information, I know all of the available treatments.

  • Thanks for that Dr M!

  • Really interesting arguments that i found useful.

  • Diet drinks can cause Diabetes.

Donald Rumsfeld is called "Aspertame Man".

Neurological toxins are every bit as nasty as vaccines. Its slow poison. Think what 'they' did to tobacco was on purpose? Naaaw...

  • Rumsfeld was always difficult but really started to

go out of his mind while head of DoD until they

had to force him out of office. I don't doubt that

as former CEO of Searle, maker of Aspartame,

he probably had it coming out of his ears.

  • I have always heard Aspartame causes MS. I heard it harms the nerves in lab tests. If someone has MS they probably should stop drinking diet drinks and stay away from Aspartame. I am interested in your thoughts.

  • Aspartame is a deadly poison! No one should consume it at any time! It breaks down into aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol which are all known carcinogens. Methanol is extremely toxic!
