  • Hi, Do guys have a firecat f6 06 by any chance with this stuff on it or anything like it for a video you can put up? Also will these be marked dowen black friday or at all because they are quite expensive but they look amazing and i wish to get them for my sled :)

  • Does my snowmobile have to be battery powered? Will it work on my 2005 Polaris XC?

  • does ice and stuff building up around there cause any problems?

  • @ARCTICRIDER54

Nope. The tubes are designed around this very issue. The light will glow thru any buildup and it can actually enhance the visual effects. The wiring from the tubes is from military specs used for heavy equipment designs as well being used in locomotives. All mounting is with steel clamps which keep the tubes secure and in place.

    Thanks,

    Brad

  • how much? and will it work on a 05 firecat

  • @Mustangdriver113X

They fit great on the Firecat. Running board kits are $219.95.

    Thanks,

    Brad

  • OMFG THATS SO SEXIIII!!!

  • light kit, jaguar Z1, and a switchback....i think yes!!!!

  • why would anyone in their right minds ride a yamaha???

  • how much does it cost to ship a set

  • i want to set up underglow on my sled, but i want it under the cowel

  • how much?

  • I didn't know Mexicans rode snowmobiles... cool.

  • wicked... cool... .. .

  • how much dose the under glow cost

  • @WIllyC6 175ish

  • @35chaput oh well looks like i also just bought car under glow led set 6, 20 inch purple leds for 24 and they run right off the light 12v off the brights or the regular light

  • how can i setup this system on my sled if it doesnt have a battery?

  • I provide a voltage rectifier with the system. You willnot have to do anything else.

  • last year 800 summit spring edition with the blue and white would look awsome with the blue under it

  • i saw a guy on the trail with a rev like that he had blue head lights too

  • rocks*

  • wouldnt the lights break from little robs and stuff if ur riding the trails?

  • the blue one looks sweet

  • which ones are better led or neon

  • Neons! Equal or better brightness and much more durable.

  • How can i order some?

  • Whats in the neon running board light kit then the same thing as the L.E.D. kit?

  • The neon running board kits come with two neon tubes instead of 4 LEDs. One tube mounted on each side of the sled under the runnin boards. The wiring harness and power connections are the same for both types of kits.

  • How are they attached to the bottom of the running boards? 3M tape handle the extreme cold? How do you keep the tubes from getting ripped off through deeper snow?

  • Each tube is attached with 3 steel clamps and bolted to the undeside of the running board. They don't rip off. Deep snow is no problem......The toughest test we found is breaking thru ice on a lake or river.....and we still never had a tube rip off.

  • umm say you go through some deep snow or something or like wheelie ha would they come off or break?? or shattter at all?

  • The running board LED light Kit comes with 4 high powered LED Modules. Each module has 6 feet of cord plus th wire3 harness has an additional 5 feet of cord so you could position the lights where you would like them placed.

    Brad

  • if you got an L.E.D. kit from the snow glow company how many would you need for one snowmobile. For instance if you wanted three lights spread around your sled would you need three kits?

  • The running board LED light Kit comes with 4 high powered LED Modules. Each module has 6 feet of cord plus th wire3 harness has an additional 5 feet of cord so you could position the lights where you would like them placed.

    Brad

  • is say take the flap off the back so it lights up the powder the track shoots

  • how do you keep them from blowing voltage regulators ? i have put neon and leds on my sled before but they fry out or burn up the regulator

  • You hit the nail right on the head when you mentioned voltage regulation. We have been doing this for 19 years. We provide custom built componets which feed off of your machines voltage regulators output. They are designed to handle the voltage variations and have have virtually no failure rates and provide a stable source of power. Snow Glow neon kits are the best fit for non-battery sleds as LEDs are much more apt to fail due to a inconsistant power source.

  • r they legal on trails

  • I ride with th snow cops all the time here in MN. The lights on snowmobiles are classified as off-road which is legal. For outsie of MN I sell all over the USA and Canada and for 19 yers w have had not problem.

  • what about for NY?

  • Awesome. I want a snowmobile but unfortunelty, there is not nearly enough snow where I live so buy one, so I'd probably be wasting money.

  • They are secured to theunderside of the running boards with steel clamps. They are very secure...you can't rip them off.

  • Holy shit i want that for my F7

  • im thinking about getting some ahhh will they break if i go into deep snow?

  • No.. They have been proven not to break in snocross i dont think deep snows gona break them..

  • They will not break....guaranteed

    Brad

    Snow Glow

  • aight where can i order some? form your sight or what?

  • You can buy from the web site or you can givee a call at 218-390-519.

  • The blue light were deff the best

  • Those are sweet

  • i got the same blue neon but they are orange..and i need to know why one side don't work...i love neon...Pimp my snowmobile he

  • Give me a call on Monday and I'll see if I can help you out.

    218-390-8519, ask for Brad

  • hehe im from new brunswick in canada...

  • i love the neon green underglow....i finds that sticks out the nicest!

  • will they stand up to bing in powder??

  • Yes, with out a doubt!!

  • are these leagl ? on trails

  • Yes they are. The snowmobile is an off-road vehicle. I ride with the MN DNR all the time.

  • i would like to know if you carry them in yellow, i have yellow headlight bulbs now and think it would look sicky with the yellow neon kit. thank you.

  • yes I do.

  • these things look pretty sick

  • Yes, the light kits, especially the neon, are extremely durable.

  • can the snow mobiles be driven on a normal dirt road or paved road ??

  • yea, but be prepared to spend some money on carbides and slides

  • i wouldn't be able to buy one and i don't live any were near snow and for me to go to were there is snow would be like a 2 day trip just to go to the ski mountain in the winter month

  • These lights are great. I have had them on my sleds since 1998 and love them!

  • where do u find or get them?>??

  • The neons kits can be used with the voltage regulator supplied with the neon kits, they are made to take the voltage spikes. Check the voltage regulated by the machines regulator...one of the best spots to check is the power to the headlight. If the voltage stays below 14 volts when you rev the engine you should be ok for the LEDs. The durability of the neons greatly outweighs that of the LEDs for the running board kits. The LEDs are great under the ski wells.

    Hope this helps.

    Brad

  • how can i hook some up without a battery for a 2003 f7 can u tell me where like the headlights or ?

  • 01 mountain cat 800

  • The lights will fit fine. I just did one last week with green neons and leds above the ski wells and looked great! Also put the lights on the ski wells? nice sled! Just in case the moped comment was not meant for you....that was for jscottcle.

  • yea it looks pretty cool. I will order some from you though. i will also shoot some videos so you can see how us iowa ditch bangers ride

  • Sounds good. Give me a call and we'll get you hooked up.

  • Track is good, now you need some for your shocks.

  • I have them, they are just not on hte web site yet. 218-390-8519 ask for Brad

  • how much is it for some green ones

  • The running board kits start at $179 for the LEDs and are $219 for the neons. The LEDs are good, but the neons are more durable. Both offer equal brightness on the lighting.

    Brad

  • how much would a kit be. And can u get more then just Ur stranded red and blue? pleas reply

  • where do you hook them up if you dont have a battery?

  • The supplied wire harness is connected to the feed coming from the machines voltage regulator before it supplies power to the machine electronics so it does not effect anything on the machine.

  • They make the snow look like fire at night

  • Hey thanks ic where yur coming from.. so much will the Led run Me and how much the neon?

(2 leds or 2 tubes for hood vents)

  • Explain how the Neon is better then the LED?

  • I sell them both and I sell 10 to one neon over the LED kits. I have had one warranty claim for one tube this year and my warranty runs about 10% on the LED kits. Typical situation....Your running on the ice and break through up to your running boards. The LED unit shears off or cracks the plastic lens eventually causing the electronis to get moisture inside and short out, same situation does nothing to the neon tubes.

    Hope this helps,

    Brad

  • does it matter where you mount them on the running boards?

  • The tubes are mounted under the running boards near the L-break next to the tunnel. If you have heat exchangers they mount right next to them.

    Brad

  • do you have any that are for snowmobiles with out batteries?

  • The neon kits are designed for application with or without a battery. They are also more durable and the brightness between the the neon or the LED's are equal. You buy them and your not happy my policy is to buy them back.

    Thanks,

    Brad

  • do the neons work good for off trail riding like LEDs do?

  • thats sweet i have a set of green one for my 97 zrt

  • LOL, EFIIN SOLID!, AM SOLD!

  • now...how come the blue ones are like seperate lights as the red is a light strip? are they different kinds and which cost more?

  • The smaller blue ones are LED Modules where the tubes are neon. The LED's work good under the skis and are good for trail riding but the neon is much more durable. The LED's are less expensive by about $40 for the running board kit but in my opinion they do not hold up as well.

    Brad

  • alright well thank you though for telling me. i am planning on putting some on my artic cat 700 saber.think im going to go with the green module. they seem to look better

    SNow Glow

  • is it hard to break?

  • Hi,

The system is extremely durable. We have been doing this for 17 years and have been on the parts accessories catalog for several years. Over the last three years I have have warrranty claims for 3 lights.

    100% guarantee first year.

    Thanks for the note,

    Brad
