Wow, this actually a pretty alright. The acting is kind of poor, but the other stuff really makes up for it, like the way the zombies move and look. Also, considering how young the kids look (can't be any older than 14) it's really good.

If you have people who are young in your movie and it's a zombie movie, try and make it so they hav "every day household items." Cuz I see a lot of people are saying stuff about it.

This was pretty cool, I mean I admit the whole thing did seem kinda random. Also I feel like the kid in the green is the main character or the hero of the story. I don't think he looked or acted the part. The kid in the hat and the kid in the Led Zepplin shirt were pretty good at acting. You should definatley give them another part in another movie of yours. They seem like they have alot of potential. Also the mop was perfect to get. It seemed normal. Unlike a sword of gun?

gotta say...even for the age...horrible acting (Altho the kid in the green and his buddy with the hat were decent. The girl was HORRIBLE tho)

This was actually a very awsome movie, prob about a 9/10. Some tips:

Try and light it a bit better

Katanas? Maybe explain why they have those

A mop? Not against a zombie. Paris Hilton, maybe, but not against a zombie

It's all good, but I just felt like in good humor pointing out that it doesn't work to tell someone no offense before telling them that their stuff sucks ass. :D The statements, being so opposite, don't work in the same sentence. Though usually telling someone "No offense...(fill in the blank) doesn't work. (Remember this is in good humor and I'm not offended, just felt like sharing my wisdom haha.)

Time them as in muzzle flash, or firing the gun and having the zombie fall in a timely manner? Both are pretty simple. The muzzle flash I use Effectslab Pro and just look for the frame when the kickback starts and put the muzzle flash there. For the zombie falls it's basically trial and error. If it's done in the same shot I do it till it looks natural, if it's two separate shots I'll cut so that the zombie is beginning to fall as it comes into the shot. Let me know if that wasn't helpful.

I used EffectsLab Pro. It's the easiest and nicest affordable way that I've found.

Not that I know of unless someone else ripped 'em off RE and put 'em online. 90% of the zombie sounds a friend and I recorded (plus some of what was on set) and the gun sounds I pulled from a sound website. The machete and mop hits were from Medieval Total War. I think that about covers the sound basics. If there's others you're curious about I can point you to the source.

It was okay. I'm a huge fan of independent shit(Hell, I have some zombie movies of my own). The only thing that could've been better was that girl's acting. I mean, she always looked like she was grinning when she should've been screaming (or at least looking scared). Besides that, great job!

If it was the acting say so. if it was the FX say so. If it was the storyline say so. If it was my lack of zombie actors say so. Thanks! Spent a fair bit of time getting the blood to look right (both on set and in post-editing).

It's really hard to get people together. I worked for about 4 months trying to get my cast together, and I lost people along the way. Most of my zombies were last minute so i was really lucky!
