I just started playing the remake on the GameCube and came on here to see the differences. No comparison! I haven't played this game since it first came out but playing it for the first time back then seemed as if the game was just as good then as it is now if the game had never came back out as a remake for the GameCube. Did that make sense? Because I have a clear explanation in my head and it isn't translating well to my fingers.

No...I meant RE 5...4 was wayyyyy better....it still had the horror characteristic for the RE franchise...where as RE 5...was no horror...just action....and one of the worst for it...short chapters...and just...nothing of RE quality...altho I did miss the zombies...RE 4 was one of my favorites....RE 3 Nemesis will always be my number 1 choice tho :D

I consider it a Resident Evil game considering it says "Resident Evil 4" and it was produced by capcom......thats on a technical level i'm speaking...Secondly, liking the fact that RE 4 is more better then 5 and what I think is a good game considering it has a different plot twist then zombies this time around...is not idiocy...I just like the fact that its not zombies...needing to do other things, in order to kill them you know? Its still the best franchise that capcom has made :)

Damn, this brings back memories. This is the only Resident Evil we played years ago. We were all too young to even play the game back then but our parents let us do it anyway. I think we only rented or burrowed it though so we never got to finish it. It was either too hard or scary (or both) for us anyway. I remember running away from the Zombie kind of freaked me out, and we jumped so much from those stupid dogs that jump out of the windows. And then there's the ravens that eat that one guy...
