You will probably have a different version of after effects than me. So just check through all of the the tabs in the effects tab to find what you are looking for in the render tab eg. the lens flare. Dunno if that really helps sorry. I have AE 6.5 you might have 7 or CS3 or something.

What can I say... lens flares are retarded, even if you disguise them by using a different preset...

They were perhaps cool at first, but after a few billion rip offs and misuses, they fell out of fashion.

Now lens flares can only be justified when there's an actual light source, and they don't normally use the 105mm preset ;)

lol, it isnt actually the New shine effect, I just made up this effect one day, I din't know what to call it, all I could come up with was the shine effect, but thats already sometyhing else so i called it the new shine effecte because it was different to the others. Its A new shine effect, not THE new shine effect.

Im not sure what you mean mate!! The lens flare comes with After effects, it is not a plug in that you have to download separatly. What do you mean by render? Do you want to know how to render?? Im not sure what your asking!

To import music into adobe After effects simply select file, import and select your music file. Or just drag your music file straight into the composition.

You can get after effects for PC and Mac. To get the system requirements go to the adibw website. ( I use versin 6.5 on a mac)

Ilearnt to use aftre effects by watching video tutorials like this on youtube to start off with. I also learnt from andrew Kramer's tutorials on videocopilot net. I also learnt a lot from Creative Cow's after effects tutorial podcasts. But i mostly learnt it from mucking around, it is really easy to teach yourself beacuse it is mainly common sense.

I've been using after effects for about 4 months now, and its pretty easy to figure out. But i learnt most of te stuff in the first 2-3 weeks. But im continuely learning more all the time, cause there is so much to know!!!
